- Woody's Daily Shampoo for Men – Sulfate-Free, All-Natural & Organic Scalp Cleanser for Healthy Hair, 32 fl oz

I wanted a good men's shampoo that has no tea tree oil (I believe tea tree oil is bad for men's health), but a lot of otherwise good quality shampoo that's marketed to men contains that stuff. I decided to try Woody's because of the reviews and ingredients that seem to be better than most. The price was also reasonable, assuming it's something I would like. Fast forward to having used it for almost a week, I think this is a keeper. It takes an incredibly small amount since my hair is relatively short, it lathers up very easily, cleans nicely and rinses completely out with minimal effort. The smell is fantastic. I would describe the smell as similar to honey and lemons. It's not perfumy at all - just smells good while using and then it all rinses out. For what it's worth, I did see in some older reviews that the cap design was bad and resulted in broken lids, but that has evidently been fixed. This lid doesn't hinge with a cap that flips up like in those negative reviews. Instead, it has a little spout that pulls up and pushes back down, and it seems well-made. I can't imagine it breaking before I'm done with the bottle. I'll update later if anything changes but I think this is may be my favorite ever shampoo.

A short while back I decided to switch shampoo brands since I noticed that American Crew changed the formulation of their products that I normally use (could tell by comparing a new batch to an old one) which reduced their effectiveness and also started to cause scalp problems. Having seen Woody’s at the professional supply stores when shopping with my ex who is a hairstylist, I decided to give it a try. First, I find I like the cedar like scent used more than what ever the scent is that AC has switched to. Next, I find that this shampoo does a very good job of cleaning my hair and scalp and does not require that I use a lot of the product (maybe a quarter size blob). It also rinses out nicely compared to AC and other brands I have tried. Shortly after making the switch, the scalp problem I had cleared up and has not returned. If you have scalp issues with most shampoos and want to see if Woody’s will help, I suggest trying a small bottle first rather than the larger one in case you still have problems with it. Overall, Woody’s is now going to be my regular shampoo .... at least until their reformulate it like most brands do at some point in time (especially if the company is bought by a bigger one).

For me Woody's is a mixed bag. What it does right, it does so well, that you have to give it a lot of credit, but what I didn't like about the product wouldn't necessirly keep me from buying Woody's again, it still was a little annoying. First, what I liked: It cleans your hair, VERY WELL. This stuff is really good. I have not seen so much of a speck of dandruff, or dirt, or anything in my hair since I started using Woody's. I also like the logo and art work of the product. Granted this part has nothing to do with the actual shampoo, but for a guy, appearance and presentation are important and Woody's does it well. Now, what I didn't like: The cap. The cap is like what you would see in a kitchen or for a cleaning product. It's functional, but it doesn't work for me. The smell of the shampoo: I don't like it...at all. It smells like a commercial cleaner to me. I honestly don't like it at all. The smell combined with the cap just rubs me wrong. With that said, the scent does not stay in your hair after you shower, so I don't smell it all day, but I just don't like it. The Price: isn't bad, but I wouldn't call it great either. For the price I was hoping for a little bigger bottle. Overall, a good product, just doesn't do it for me.

I used to had complications with my oil hair until I found this shampoo. My hair looks great and really healthy now. It also gives it a fresh and citrus smell what is great!

I like this shampoo a lot. I think it is a great value, and I'm on my 3rd or 4th bottle now. I like the way it smells. I like the way it cleans. My hair is clean but not dry, my scalp is good too.

This product isn't what it's chalked up to be and those who like myself read the q and a and other reviews before buying. keep in mind the people who answers your questions sell the product or are satisfied customers who's opinion are biased. The honest sent of this product is dove original sented soap mixed with orange peels that's the best way to describe the smell it's not bad but sertianly not fantastic so if you're looking for a clean basic smell this is your product. If your looking for quality high end I recommend doing some more research and resourcing for high end products I personally would recommend bill jelousy's line of products bit expensive but smell great and sertianly deliver on quality of ingredients. I gave it three stars because the product does have some good qualities one for the price you pay you get a decent amount two it's rich in the sense that it lathers on easy creates a thick sudsy clean mold on your scalp and three the sent doesn't smell bad but it definitely has a generic quality to it in that it smells like other more affordable brands such as dove. But no the less still smells clean and won't over power anyone or make them cringe whether it be in your social life, work , school , gym etc. It also leaves your scalp feeling clean and fresh throughout the day. So if you're looking for a shampoo that smells clean like dove with a moderate twist of citrus relatively affordable and cleans pretty well this is your product. All in all not bad but not impressed way to much hype for this particular product.

Yet again one more fantastic product from Woodys. The shampoo works so well and you only need a pea size of product. The conditioner is the same just a pea size. The feeling you get once the conditioner is on your hair is so nice and lasts after you wash the product out. Will be buying more.

Me encanta, tiene un cierto olor cítrico que adoro y además hace algo de espuma (porque no puedo con los champús que no hacen NADA de espuma, me dejan el pelo como la estopa!) Lo volveré a comprar seguro, el pelo queda limpio y suave y además no lleva siliconas... No se puede pedir más! Edito: el champú sigue siendo igual de estupendo, lo he seguido comprando, pero esta vez ha llegado un poco abierto, por lo que se había salido parte del champú, no mucho afortunadamente, e iba en una bolsa, por lo que no ha llegado a manchar otros artículos que había pedido... Creo que deberían tener un poco más de cuidado al preparar este tipo de artículos y comprobar que están bien cerrados al enviarlos...

When it comes to products like shampoos, everyone has different preferences. I have used Woody’s before and very much enjoyed the scent and feel. Hopefully anyone that try’s it out also does. Like I said when it comes to shampoos, there is a wide range of what someone might like.
