Mr. Coffee 2-Quart Replacement Pitcher for TM1, TM1P

I have an older machine, which is the 1.7 model and I bought this replacement pitcher hoping I could use it with my machine. It does. The pitcher with its brewing lid is the right height for my older machine and it brews the tea perfectly. There are some improvements: there is a frosted finish on the sides of the pitcher that make the *water* and *ice* lines easier to see, and I like this teal color a lot more than my old purple top and the plastic seems to be a bit heavier.I made the tea my usual way with 8 single tea bags, wanting to compare to my old pitcher. The tea was weaker, but I think it is because of the larger volume of the pitcher--it holds a full 2 quarts while the old pitcher held 1.7 quarts. I will add another tea bag or two next time and it should be fine. I am very happy I found this replacement for my machine.Update on December 11, 2015: I still love this pitcher, and bought a second one for entertaining--I can make tons of tea now. For me, 10 tea bags is the magic number for this two quart pitcher. And I have discovered that even though it says to hand wash, it goes through my dishwasher very nicely (no drying cycle).

I use my tea brewer daily and after all the use the pitchers tend to crack. They are not cheaply made, I just overuse mine. My last one started to form a crack so I went ahead and ordered this new one ( my cat knocked it off the counter and finally did it in while I was waiting on this one) this is my third replacement but I can't see buying another brewer when this one keeps ticking along! It also comes with the brew basket so no need to order that separately. I always hang on to the old one because some sellers don't include it. It works for the original brewer and it a different size than the newer ones so keep that in mind .This seller not only sold it at a reasonable price but also honored prime free shipping so this was the obvious choice for me to go with. I don't have a Mr Coffee Tea Maker but I have been looking for a new Pitcher for a while now and this one fit my requirements quite well. I really like the size and it pours nicely without spilling unlike pitcher I had been using that tended to dribble. The handle is comfortable and easy to use 1 handed and it fits in my RV refrigerator very well. I would recommend this pitcher whether you have a Mr Coffee TP1 or not. I do not use the drip top that comes with the pitcher as I make my tea using my drip coffee maker with the teabag in the carafe so it can steep, then pour it into this pitcher, toss the teabag and add water to fill. Turns out great every time. This will stay on my wish list should I need to replace it.

This is an exact replacement for the original pitcher that came with our nearly 20 year old Mr. Coffee iced tea maker. The brewing basket was not listed and, though not needed, was an unexpected bonus. No complaints or criticism so five stars it is.Decaffeinated iced tea is our preferred beverage with most meals so the brewer has been in constant use. Over time the plastic pitcher has become brittle and started to crack around the rim. Nice to be able to replace this component to an otherwise perfectly functional appliance.

When I ordered my most recent Mr. Coffee Iced Tea replacement Pitcher, I thought the price seemed high - yes, it was - double the price I paid for the previous replacement. Just checked and it is no longer available on Amazon and seems like EBay is the only place still advertising it. Since it is needed to make iced tea with the Mr. Coffee maker, it's kind of important. These pitchers don't seem to last forever but work really well before they start to leak or crack. Good luck if you need a new one - perhaps they will become available again soon.

This is exactly what I was looking for. My iced tea maker is at least 22 years old and the pitcher handle had been broken for 10+ years. I had sporadically looked for a new tea maker, but couldn't find one I liked so I gave up. The machine itself still works fine so I made do with the broken pitcher.Then one day the door shelf fell out of the fridge taking my tea pitcher and a gallon of milk with it. The gallon of milk survived!! However, my pitcher broke in several pieces - no way could I use it anymore. Then began my search for a new iced tea maker. Still couldn't find one I wanted or liked, they are either too large for my fridge or I don't like the way they work. Mine is the type with the lever that blocks the bottom drain hole in the brew basket - not one maker is like that now. And I really like that feature. Was in despair of ever finding a good iced tea maker until I came upon this replacement pitcher. After verifying the model tea maker I had, I immediately ordered it and am very happy it fits perfectly. Here's hoping my old tea maker lasts another 20 years!!

I have had this tea maker for years. We use it every 3-4 days and make a full pot. and the pitcher was getting a little funky looking so i put in the dishwasher. I had done this before without issue but this time it got a bit warped so the lid did not fit right. This replacement was at my door in 4 days and it is even better than the original. The water is kept in contact with the tea leafs longer and the tea comes out stronger and tastes great. Just one scoop is all it takes.

This the exact replacement for my old pitcher. It was nice that it also comes with a brewing basket. For those people who complained about the brewing basket not having the lever, the newer model did away that. This basket brews perfect ice tea if you use a coffee filter as directed. My original basket did not have a lever & I never had a problem brewing perfect iced tea.
