Libbey Gibraltar Rocks Glasses, 12-ounce, Set of 12

I bought a smaller set of these previously and was very happy with them. This is a classic design that they came out with a number of years ago. However it looks great today! Sturdy glass that has the appropriate amount of heft without becoming bulky or too heavy. Durable because of the thicker base. These come in several sizes. I have the 10 oz. size that I use for orange juice and these which are 16 oz for iced tea, soda and water. A great product and not too expensive.

Great drinking glasses.

I got tired of glasses breaking at home because of slight contacts with other items. I then noticed the heavy duty glasses they had at a local restaurant. I went on to Amazon and found these. They are exactly like the ones from the restaurant. They are more of a heavy weight glass. Simple dings against counters or other dishes will not cause them to break. A little more money than the thin ones, but not in the long run.

Good quality

These were sold as "New" but the packaging clearly proved they were returned and resold as "New". The box had 3 sets of packing tape and the flaps had multiple shipping labels from previous shipments. The glasses had so much dirt and dust on (and in) them that they looked as if they had been stored in a warehouse on an open shelf and repackaged from multiple sets of damage to make a full set. Now, that being said... the glasses were in GREAT condition. I did a through inspection due to the packaging. No scratches, nothing chipped, and nothing irregular about any of them. Just dirty. They feel great when holding them. Made of heavy glass and holds a full 12oz drink with room for ice.

These are sturdy glasses. They are resistant to breakage. The glasses will often bounce instead of breaking when dropped. They are more likely to crack if they are stacked carelessly. If they break, the pieces are usually large and so are easier to pick up safely. The design of the glass also helps eyeball measurements if you free pour.

Great buy. Very sturdy. Great for every day use.

Durable tumblers

These are really great glasses, and I've been pleased with both the style and durability. I've been using them for nearly a year now and they still look brand new - they wash easily in the dishwasher. These glasses have substantial weight to them, but remain very comfortable to hold, the shape of the glass makes them easy on the hands - even my 80yo mother loves them! (I was worried they'd be too heavy for her, but she liked them so much I had to order her a set too.) Overall, very happy with these glasses, and highly recommend!

I was a bit concerned ordering glasses online and having them shipped but they arrived in a heavy duty box not a single one was broken very happy the glasses are excellent quality!
