I Cat Loves them and they seem to be holding up quite well

My male cat , Meiko, loves these. See photo - the jumbo is smaller than prior purchases. Green ball is about 2y/o and heavily used and smaller red ball is new one. He dunks in the water bowl sometimes and these gently wash and dry easily. It does not leach any colored ink into the water. He is 13 pounds and easily carries these around. He also enjoys kicking these downstairs, fetching them back upstairs and repeating the game. I like the jumbo better as they are less likely to get stuck under furniture. Also, these are easier for me to kick when I join in furry family soccer games. All kitties like this size better for stomping, back leg kicking and the stalking pounce. My smaller cats do like the smaller balls for self play soccer games. Oddly, My elderly deep sleeping dog is often covered in these in the morning. I suspect Meiko crushes on her and finds being ignored very alluring......HELPFUL TIP to keep these in play....I wrap black duct tape on inner aspect of legs of furniture and appliances. It is barely visable and keeps toys from going under. Masking tape works though black Cloth tape has no sheen and is less noticeable.

These really ARE huge- like the size of tennis balls. And they are a lot more durable than the smaller versions of these sparkle balls, which start shedding immediately. One of my cats is OBSESSED with the sparkle balls- carries and hides them all over the house, brings them to us over and over (and over) for games of fetch, growls and hides them when he gets a brand new one.I thought these might be fun, and he does like these balls a lot. Milo plays with a lot. It doesn't seem to be *quite* as much of a hit as the smaller balls, though. When he plays by himself, he often chooses this ball, but he rarely brings it to us for fetch.However, due to its size and durability, if Milo gets used to this ball, I'd order these in the future and phase out the small ones. These last so much longer, and they really don't shed much, if at all. And the size makes it easier to spot them (and NOT vacuum them up).Highly recommended if your cat loves sparkle balls.

Second only to garbage (wrappers, paper, etc), my kittens’ favorite toys are their sparkle balls. We have a 15-lb 11-month-old Maine Coon mix and a 3.5-lb 3-month-old Maine Coon mix and those boys love to play. The big kitten is a little picket about his toys than the baby. These balls are quite a bit more expensive than competing products but the quality is much better. The tinsel rarely comes off and the larger size of the balls mean there’s no risk of them getting swallowed. They’re still small enough to end up under furniture and appliances, which is a bit of a bummer for the toy retrieval pros in the family (under the careful supervision of the big kitten). I would definitely recommend this product.

My cats both love these. I find these in the water bowl all the time!Most importantly, I don't find bits of tinsel all over the house. If you want tinsel balls for your cats, I highly recommend these. Some of the ones on Amazon that say they are for cats appear to be just the cheap craft ones that will shed tinsel like crazy. I bought these in February and the same ones that I gave them in February are still in play today and look just like they did the day we got them. I see the cats playing with them and find them in different places in the house, so I know they are getting plenty of use. Plus, I see them both carrying these around all the time. Very cute!I am really happy that these are of good quality and they are holding up and I'm not worried about my cats eating a bunch of shedding tinsel.

Our four Maine Coons adore these balls. One of our cats, painstakingly pulls out the strands to leave a little felt ball that he plays with and moves from room to room as a favored toy. Adorable. (Happily, he does not eat the threads, so we're safe there.) I removed one star for the durability and sturdiness because the stands can be pulled out but, frankly, I'll happily continue to purchase these.
