Cookbook Holders, wishacc Bamboo Adjustable Book Stand Holder Tray and Page Paper Clips

A few years ago I spent a fair bit of money on a digital upright piano by a leading manufacturer. It was a worthwhile purchase except for the ridiculously puny music rest - there are no other words for it - which for some baffling reason seems to be the only size offered across the manufacturer's entire range. At only abt 20 cm (8 inches) high the rest was totally incapable of supporting sheet music of the size usually associated with classical music; nor did it have any page retainers. It had to go. I pirated a music rest from another instrument, but it wasn't an ideal fix, and it certainly didn't look good. BUT THEN... Yippee!I came across this bookstand. And I am over the moon with it. I have bought the Oversized version, which comfortably accommodates a double-page spread of music, whether a flimsy paper affair or a fat volume of all 32 of Beethoven's piano sonatas! And it comes fitted with four sturdy page retainers, rather than the two on smaller models. They will take a bit of getting used to - the two inner ones may even be redundant for my purposes - as they don't have the same delicacy of restraint as the retainers on conventional music rests, which enable fast page turns. They might be tweaked with a bit of careful bending of the arms, but if push comes to shove I reckon they can be unscrewed and replaced with something more appropriate.Within seconds of my extricating the 'bookstand' from its packaging it was in place on the piano. The light colour of the bamboo doesn't exactly go with the dark wood of the piano, but that is fixable, I'm sure.To put it mildly, I am delighted with this find. Well worth the money.

This is a great knitting pattern holder, for my wife...not me!! 😃I bought her this to stop her stealing my tablet holder, glad I did as it is very sturdy and its ideal for what she uses it for.

I use this as a music holder. It is sturdy and works well.

Ideal for A5 sized books or documents. If you need to use A4 then a bigger one is required unless you can support the A4 document, eg clipped to piece of card. Nice and sturdy with strong clips to secure smaller documents.

This is nicely made and finished, sturdy and stable, able to support large, heavy books. Ideal for my cookery and music books alike. Good value for money and pleasing to the eye, highly recommended.

The screws keeping the black rods in place loosen easily and on tightening the screw heads get damaged so inevitably the black rods loose tension and don’t hold pages in place.
