This product strongly encouraged nail growth rapidly
I have been taking this product 1 time a day at night when I go to bed to get the most absorption of the product for 2 months. I had no toenail on either of my big toes and they are almost fully grown in at this point. I have not paid attention to my hair as much since I specifically bought it to encourage faster nail growth, however, my hair does feel a little fuller and does seem to have consistent growth at a faster pace.I encourage anyone looking at a biotin product to educate yourselves on the specific need you are trying to accomplish and find what product is actually going to assist and encourage positive results. Biotin is a B vitamin that many are deficient in and up to 100mcg is the most one needs on a daily basis. You also don’t want fillers in your biotin product and buy from a reputable source. This product worked for what I was trying to accomplish and will purchase again. Maximum absorption of the product is best at bedtime as it overages of daily recommendations at 100mcg will secrete through urine or sweat. Your body being at resting state will absorb more of its benefits.

Don't buy!!
My dermatologist recommended that I start using biotin supplements for issues with excessive hair loss, hair thinning, and also wanting to grow my hair longer. He specifically suggested that I purchase Elon biotin, and said that he knows it works amazing and has seen results not only in his patients, but also with his sister, mother and wife. Elon was very expensive and at the pharmacy they suggested I purchase Windmill biotin in the same dose (5000 mcg). I tried this brand of biotin for 3 months, and I was not happy with my results. I am Indian in descent and my hair was at the top of my bra length when I first went to see the dermatologist. After 3 months of using windmill biotin my I did not see a difference in hair loss - in fact, I felt as though I was losing even more hair! I believe my hair did get longer, although at the same time it also got much thinner and fragile. When I went to my dermatologist and told him this, he said he couldn't really comment on the Windmill brand because he hasn't ever recommended it to his patients in the past. He told me to purchase Elon next time, and try it out for 3 months because he has told his mom, sister, wife, along with many other patients to use it for hair issues similar to mine. After using Elon biotin for 3 months I have noticed that my hair has gotten much longer, and also thicker! As an added side effect, my nails are also much stronger and less prone to breakage. My hair is now grown to the bottom of my bra length, just to give you an idea of the growth I have seen. Also, I have noticed that a lot of baby hairs around my forehead have grown in approximately 2-3 inches! My hair feels much thicker and when I put it in a pony tail I have 2x the amount of hair now!! I am very happy with this product and intend to keep using it daily. Also, I know a concern I had before taking biotin supplements was if I would grow insanely long hair all over my body. As a female I didn't want to grow a mustache/beard or super long leg hairs. This has NOT been an issue for me. My dermatologist did say that it shouldn't happen too.To anyone else reading this review with similar hair issues, I strongly suggest you spend the extra money to purchase Elon biotin, or try any other brand besides windmill. I'm not sure why, but I did not have good results with this specific product. If you found this review helpful, please click the YES button below.
