Yes the resistance bands are one length, and yes unless you are (insert height here) a specific height you will probably have to adjust it but lets talk about that. If you look in the photo I used a piece of tape so that I could roll it up easy and adjust it to my height, and it works perfect and took all of 15 seconds. By the way you not only can adjust it for your specific height, but different tensions for your height, as in the tighter you roll it, I love it! Now yea,.. in a perfect world ,..the manufacturer could have designed a way to adjust the strap for everyone to make it universal yada,yada then it would be like the rest of the products and they would be FORCED to raise the price (like the rest) and charge,..$50 - $100 minimum for a product that does the exact same thing this one does for $21.99,... you guys for real right now?. I also added a pic of a cushion support that I added to the bar (which you don't have to do) but this thing is awesome. You can do multiple exercises with this thing not just squats! Also, lets get real for a second.. You don't need ANY equipment to workout. So me being 5'11 and STILL having to adjust it with a .02 cent piece of tape ??? NO PROBLEM,.. rather do that all day then pay $50 - $100 for relatively the same product. So if your going to be lazy and complain about having to adjust it with a .02 cent piece of tape, then your probably that type of person who isn't going to workout anyway. BUT I HOPE YOU DO, let's get it! Stop complaining and workout even if you don't buy this!!! But i am telling you,.. this thing is so low resistance but it still works, it makes you sore and it does the job and you feel GOOD after you do it. Stop sitting there doing nothing. I literally started with 8 squats and two weeks later I am up to 45-50 if I push myself. Adds great resistance to your squats at home. However I am 5'2", and this dosent really give me much resistance since I am a bit on the shorter side.
