When working with wool applique, I often need to temporarily secure pattern pieces to a larger background. Since the glue is temporary, I can move items until I find the placement I want. The temporary glue is so much better than pins. Pins can make holes in the fabric and tend to come loose as you are working on your project.

Yes! I purchased this glue stick for a needlework class at the teachers suggestion. It is very nice. Hold fabric together without gluing and no mess. I will use this again. I could not find it in local stores so I checked Amazon and I got it VERY quickly and in time for my class. Do not hesitate to purchase.

Elmer’s school glue sticks work just as well. It’s nice that it is like a pen, but it did spread all over the place. There is very little product for the price.

I've tried 3 other brands, but Bohin is the best. I use it for an applique technique called apliquick.

This worked exactly as I wanted. It sticks without trouble, but when I peel up the fabric, it comes up without stretching out of shape.
