Marine Part Depot Stainless Steel Thru-Hull with Mushroom Head, Barbed 1/2"

I used this to use as a custom drain in our tiny home. Bought a ceramic bowl and a conical bit and was able to recess it flush. Great quality and the only stainless drain I could find in this size.

I used this for a floor drain on the bow of my boat. Many similar items have a thick flange in the range of 0.190 to 0.250". This flange is 0.083" so the puddle left behind is way smaller. This flange OD is 1.55. The flange has a slight conical shape sloping toward the drain hole perhaps 50 thousandths. With the flange thickness being consistent, to get the ridge to sit flush you will need to undercut the substrate. Also the smallest diameter of the barb is 0.662, a largest barb diameter is 0.70. A 5/8 hose fits fine and will stay installed probably without a hose clamp. The thread OD is 0.82, so a 7/8 hole saw worked well for the hole

Works well in a low pressure application. Typical 50% Chinese threads, so don't torque the heck out of it. OK ABOVE the waterline and extremely affordable to purchase.

Used this to make a drain in the Bed Liner of my 2000 Super Duty Pickup Truck. I was tired of all the standing water in the back. After carefully measuring I used a Greenlee #7211BB-1/2 Punch to make a 7/8" hole in both the Bed & Liner Worked Great! The Description says "Mushroom Head" But this had a flat head with a slight recess towards the middle, which worked well for my application.
