Milestone Camping 20479 Portable Gas Heater / Outdoor Heater For Camping, Fishing, & Skiing Trips / Butane Gas Canister / Pressure Sensing Shut Off / 42cm x 26cm x 20cm

Seems to throw out a fair bit of heat. Bought for my camper van, windows always opened to allow air flow. Haven't used a full canister yet but seems to last a while on full power. I got this from the Amazon Warehouse deal as open box and it was practically brand new. I could recommend this. I will post a video of it working as soon as I have used it in the van.

Bought to supplement Rooney heating gas lots 3 hours as tiny cannisters but.knew this , absolutely brilliant bur be mindful of poisonous gas in air , recommends to use in ventilated areas , BE AWARE and SENSIBLE and RESONSIBLE - DO NOT USE IN A CLOSED NON AIRED AREA

The media could not be loaded. Smart looking heater, quite light and easy to use.A few pointers:1. Don’t have the handle facing upwards when it’s on, face it back, as the heat will make the handle to hot to hold, quite a surprise if you go to move it and have a burnt hand.2. When inserting the gas bottle and ‘lock’ it into position, a slight hiss of gas can sometimes be heard until the gas bottle is wiggled around and pushing the nozzle in even further by hand (pushing the male nozzle on the bottle into the female hole on the unit)3. On max heat setting, very small flames flicker out the top of the central heat area (video attached). I don’t know no if this is normal or not? It seems whole honeycomb mesh area in the centre pushes out the gas and the gas is lit in front of this mesh rather than the flame being behind it and the mesh heating up and thus throwing the heat forward, but the heat seems to be coming directly from the flames at the front out this the mesh?4. The metal pull tab on the side that the instructions ask you to pull seems to have no effect on anything, it works with or without this pulled in or out so I have no idea what this is for?Other than these things, he seems to be a good, tidy and attractive looking unit, quite well-made.Take it camping with us in a few weeks so will report after. I only opened it just to test it prior to us going.

Great heat, easy to use. I did get a flame from this when lit but pushed the ring back in which solved this.I wonder is it suppose to do this itself when lit, anyway it is a very good heater and worth the money. BE SAFE REMEMBER CARBON MONOXIDE POISON KILLS OPEN A WINDOW OR VENT

Excellent value, compact, & useful. This wasn’t bought for camping or fishing, but I’m sure it would be ideal for both (though calor gas appliances should only be used in well ventilated spaces). I bought this to be able to have a socially distanced visitor outside, when weather cold. It’s been used once, & was a great success, placed on a tabletop facing a friend, who was comfortable for over 2 hours. One gas canister would’ve lasted longer, on highest setting. I see no reason why the heater couldn’t be used on the floor, facing upwards.

It stopped working after couple of months. It looks like the valve for the gas release jammed.

If you need a heater for camping look no further this heater is great it heats up really quick and is easily controlled easy to opperate
