If you are planning to hike any part of the LSHT then you will want to get a copy of this book. It is incredibly detailed (and accurate) for all parts of the trail. It was absolutely wonderful to have so that I was completely prepared for this hike. It is a must have!

This book covers all of the pertinent bases if you plan to hike the trail. Knowing water is always a consideration in this area it was great the see those so well identified in the book. This helped considerably while planning out where to camp each day.
