PetSafe EasySport Harness, Extra Small, Green, Adjustable, Control, Padded for small/ medium/ large dogs

I've ordered this harness twice, both medium and small, but had to send both back. My dog is a 15kg medium cross breed, a slim leggy staffy cross about the size of a springer spaniel. She usually fits medium size in everything. Ordered medium first but it was way too big so sent it back and ordered small. Unfortunately this is way too small even on the biggest setting and too tight round the neck. Not sure why there is such a big size difference between the two sizes and would have thought one or the other would fit, but unfortunately not. Shame as it's a lovely harness and would have loved to have kept it. Would have been 5 stars if it fit, but the sizing is just silly.

Despite the rave reviews and getting answers to my questions, I'm really disappointed with this product. I got the XS ... my dog is 13lb with a neck size 9" and chest of 15". The elasticated neck part becomes quite loose when walking and then bits of it slip out of place. Despite adjusting the 'waistband' to the smallest it's still not snug and the D ring where you clip the lead actually sits at the BACK END of the dog's body, it's not even midline or towards the shoulders ... it's nearer the tail! I don't feel I have proper control of her in this harness as the D ring part slides from side to side and I end up dragging her around by her back end while her front end is raring to go. She hasn't yet slipped out of it but she's already found that the elasticated neck can be manoeuvred ... but I won't be using it again as it's not comfortable for ME to handle her with. That top strip where the handle is looks quite short in the picture when in fact on the dog it reaches almost to her tail in XS size ... and she's not a toy size dog, she's a small dog.

We did like this a lot and have now been using it for about three months. The only problem is that the elastic which makes it less static and kinder to the dog has started to deteriorate. This is such a shame as the overall structure is sturdy and it works well for our labradoodle. I wish they had used a better grade of elastic tape as I can see that it will need replacing in a couple of months. Hope the local tailor shop can replace the elastic straps.

This is very easy to slip over my dogs head and securely fastens under the belly. A lot of harnesses we've tried in the past secure under the armpits and I don't think it's very comfortable. I love the fact this this fastens with two sturdy clips under the belly and the lead attaches to a loop on the dog's back. Excellent quality!

Bought for growing lurcher pup so didnt want to spend too much. Good wee harness for smaller dogs but d-ring is in an odd place and if you had a dog that can slip a harness I wouldnt trust it. Cant control dog very well due to d-ring position. But fab for a well behaved lurcher.

We ordered it for our whippet in the hope it would fit his slim neck and deep chest proportions. It's well made but for us another harness that we can't use unfortunately. Neck too wide and not adjustable. Chest slightly tight fitting.

I received this harness today(a day early). I have a five month old greyhound and have tried various harnesses all of which have been too big around the neck, too small around the chest or generally too bulky for such a skinny dog. This harness is fantastic it fits her perfectly and feels really secure, it's really well made and I have already had comments on where did I get it from. I would very highly recommend this harness. I don't think it will fit her for very long, but as soon as it starts getting too small I shall be ordering the size up🙌

Please try surprised with the good quality of this product for the money. Measured up so got the best size for my dog. He's only a puppy and although the neck is a little big, it will allow for plenty of growing space which means I'll get the most out of it. The clips appear to be robust and the handle is not as large as I thought it would be which is nice as unlikely to be a hindrance when off the lead. I notice from other reviews about the poor quality of the elastic around the neck, can't comment at this stage as item is new. If anything changes will review again.Fast delivery, very happy with this harness!
