Photo is my 3rd attempt, the cleanup filing and buffing is really key to making the nails look neat. I normally get my nails done every 3 weeks in a salon costing £30 a go, so when we went into lockdown they went downhill fast! I ordered this kit hoping for something to tide me over until everything opens again, but now im getting the hang of it, I will keep doing it at home & save so much cash. My first attempt was terrible- make sure you don't get the base on any cuticle or skin as it dries and looks awful. Also, you need more than one coat- I did 3 as there is no base powder (as they do in the salon). The coats need to be applied using the base coat (the instructions are very minimal). Also you need some good strong nail files & a buffer which aren't provided or on the instructions - if you haven't used dip powder before on your nails, definitely watch a YouTube video as the instructions are just quite poor. Good luck! ### ⭐⭐ Not worth the expense *by M***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 June 2020* Mixed review. The product isnt as easy to apply as stated, when you do the dipping part it sometimes forms a bump/clump meaning you have to take it off and re do it. Taking it off is harder then normal nail varnish so it's not ideal to have to re do them. I've tried dipping the nail slow, fast etc but it still sometimes clumps.One of the varnishes stings a fair bit which isnt stated in description either.
