It's been a week now and zero problems. So far, so good. Review: New and Improved ? - I would like to think this one is new and improved. But only time will tell if it works for a long time. How about the unit itself? First it has a SHORT power cord. The old one had 4-feet to the power brick, 4-inch power brick, then 4-ft 8-inches to the end of the connection. That is almost 9 feet of cord. THIS ONE has only 4-ft 8-inches total. (not counting the useless 7-inch extension-see below) Had to find an extension cord or a power strip. Will not reach the power outlet that the original PS plugged into. THEN - this comes with a 7-inch extension from a straight plug to an 90-degree plug. Take the ext off and throw it away. It is too big and does not fit the call pilot connection properly. I plugged it in and no power. Then I touched it. Power - no power - power - no power. Throw that thing out. At least the straight end seems to fit better.....so far.
