I don’t write many reviews, but I HAD to take the time to leave one for this product! I purchased it 2.5 years ago & have used almost daily. I have an apartment with tile & hardwood floors & this ORFELD vacuum is the perfect end of day, quick & easy to use, zip around clean up tool!I have neck & back issues & finding a vacuum that doesn’t make these issues worse is very hard. This ORFELD vacuum was an amazing find! It is so light weight, super maneuverable around any obstacle, has great suction & is easy to disassemble to empty & clean.I have a German Shepard who sheds A Lot!! That is why I make a point of zipping this around the apartment everyday. This vacuum has no problem picking up the hair on any surface. The maneuvering abilities are really a great help with keeping the hair cleanup under control.I do have a few area rugs that I use it on too, for those wondering if it works on rugs. Depending on the pile of the rug I may only go across it in one direction, but it will suction up what I need it to, hair, crumbs, etc… If I try to go both ways on one with a higher pile, the rug will sometimes get caught up in the roller. I do wish it would hold a battery charge a bit longer. I can Almost finish my whole apartment on one charge on the Max setting. I just plug it back in to recharge & finish the spare bedroom later or the next day. The battery life is extended on the Low, Med or Hi regular than the Max settings & others may find one of those settings have enough suction power for their needs.This is my favorite & easiest to use cleaning tool. I hope I haven’t jinxed myself by writing this review & the vacuum doesn’t break down for some unknown reason. I am crossing my fingers! After 2.5 years it’s still going as great as the day I bought it, I love this ORFELD vacuum!! I highly recommend it to anyone who is considering it. I hope you have as great an experience with it as I have.

We absolutely loved this vacuum-- it has great suction, is easy to keep clean and was light enough that even my kids could use it! However, exactly 2 years into use, the battery no longer holds a charge. And you can't buy a replacement battery, which is super annoying. Buyer beware: in 2 years or less, you will have to buy another vacuum at the same or more likely higher price point.

This was a covid random purchase. It is now 8/2023 and we use this every day! It is PERFECT for linoleum, hard wood... anything except regular shag carpet. We have 3 cats and this little vacuum helps keep that situation under control. Lol. Seriously. It is very light but packs some power. Seriously one of my best purchases from Amazon. I absolutely recommend 100%.

I got this because I had another Orfeld vacuum that seemed to be of decent quality. Two other stick vacs I had stopped working after less than a year and the Orfeld was outlasting that. I disliked this thing right out of the box. I found it difficult to disconnect the parts for conversion to hand vac and to empty the dust bin. I always felt I was one wrong move from breaking it because it feels flimsy. Still it did ok for the quick clean up jobs I got it for, as long as it was on hardwood. Doesn't do a thing on carpet, even low pile. After a little over a year it stopped working all together. It turns on but everything it sucks up just gets dumped back on the floor when it's turned off. I tried troubleshooting, cleaning and checking for clogs but there's nothing wrong with it, it just stopped working. To make matters worse my other Orfeld died at the same time! At least that one lasted 3 years. So far I have not found a decent cordless vac for less than $200, I might just have to shell out more money, but it's a shame because I don't even need it for big jobs just little jobs here and there, but I don't want to buy a new vacuum every year.

I am a 75 year old woman with a 1400 SqFt home that is all laminate flooring. I love the idea of this vacuum! I actually would be happier if it was corded. I run it on high power because I want the extra suction because I want to move fast. With the high power, I am able to get a converted 1 car garage, 1 very small bathroom 1 small dining room and half of my kitchen. Then it needs to be charged again. About 30 minutes plus or minus. It takes 3 days to get my whole house - or - 3 charges. I have had it since 2020. I didn't use it for a year for a year because I gave up with the limited charge, but I have since gotten less busy and have more time to deal with the lack of useful time. It works pretty well - enough for me. It would just be better if it were corded so I could get the whole house. It is light enough, with my bad back, so I am able to use it. The lack of charge time is my only complaint.

My Shark carpet sweeper finally gave out and I was looking for something to replace it. I wanted something cordless that was easy to move around. I read the reviews of others and was a little worried to purchase. Despite some of the negative reviews, I bought it and I love it!! This is not my primary vacuum. I mostly use this in my basement to do a quick touch up, sweep up cat litter and pine shavings, and to run over my throw rugs. This works fabulous on hard surfaces but did not do well with pet hair on carpet. But for the money, I didn't expect it to perform like my Shark Pet Pro vacuum. I am very happy I bought this!!

For the first year or so, it worked great. Good suction, easy to empty and ran for a good 30 minutes. Now it only works for about 5 minutes before the charge indicator goes to empty and it stops.Unfortunately, there is no way to get a battery replacement, so I would steer clear of this vacuum.

This is the best answer to replace a costly vacuum! Dyson was the usual way to go but after using this Orfeld for almost a week I can (and my wife too) safely say that it has exactly what we liked on a way more expensive vacuum. The suction power is great, both on hardwood, granite or carpet (low or high). The head spins and adjust in every corner and makes it easy to catch hard to reach places/stairs. Very quiet (my cats don’t even run away from the noise so that tells a lot) and the battery life is more than enough for a full apartment (1100sq ft). The plug in charger (once installed on the wall) makes it very easy to charge and I personally think that I’ve found the best replacement for my Dyson.

This device became unusable a short 4 months after purchase. The motor became weak after a short 4 months. The worst product every.Extremely disappointed.
