Worked like a charm!

Good quality hinges
I've seen countless of YouTube videos about the MacBook Pro mid 00s, to the 2013 supposedly having the hinges faulture and people claiming, "oh do this and that and the third.". But wether you like it or not, you'll have to replace them. These hinges came in the mail fairly quickly and once installed, granted does take awhile but it was worth not hearing that horrible creaky sound. Now my Customed 2012 MacBook Pro is creak free.

These hinges made my grandson very happy to have his MacBook Pro with the same stability of new Mac.

Disappointing and did not work
Purchased these because while my hinges were installed tightly (no loose screws which is a common problem), the hinge mechanism was loose and the screen would not stay in position. Unfortunately these hinges were no better than the 11 year old hinges in my computer. They feel very tight when NOT installed but once installed, the leverage of the screen on the hinge makes these hinges just as weak as my old hinges and the screen moves freely, the hinges do not work.
