Best hammer I’ve ever used
I build scaffolding with this hammer. Highly recommend it. All my coworkers use Estwing rock picks. Good weight, durable prying pick, good grip. Especially the fact that the handle stays on, that orange and black rock pick you’ll see in suggested items for 20 bucks, don’t buy it. The hammer will eventually start coming out of the handle and if you don’t notice it can come out of the handle mid swing.

Estwing…nuff said
I’m not a rock hound, I got this to go with my metal detecting stuff. It’s an Estwing so it is very well constructed and will last like twelve lifetimes.

Sturdy
Solid and heavy. I've gotten a smaller, leather-handled rock pick from Estwing that lasted 1 day before the handle came loose. This guy, however, feels like I could take on an army of rock-zombies and still keep chugging along. I really like the flat striking head and the enamel on the metal components.

Solid. Estwing.
Its an Estwing rock hammer much like the classic 22 with a bigger cracking head and yellow on the bottom of the handle which should make it easier to see if it gets buried in a pile of dirt. it will last forever, as Estwing products seem to do in my experience, but needs a custom belt-carry sheath (cut a small oval in the standard one over the head) to fit the slightly larger head. The bigger head doesn't seem to make a big difference but technically it should make cracking samples easier, plus it should drive a chisel with a bit more power per stroke, although I doubt i will notice any difference being a buff bad-ass beer-powered field geologist, maybe my chisels will...
