Best Shoe for Flat Feet & OBESE people ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I advise every obese person with flatfoot to purchase NEW Balance 940v4 , it supports more weight than 940v3. Once you put it on your feet your stance is corrected your walk is BALANCED , it prevents you from swinging left and right while walking makes you just walk straight like a Fashion model With full confidence. you feel you wanna run. Honestly, I can’t wear anything else right now but this shoe until I loose weight . I have bought the wide one and there is extra wide too . Remember the shoe must always have space in front of the big toe, always and when you walk step on the heal and you shall feel so good. I walked long distance like 10000 steps high and slops in one day and no blisters. Make sure you go for wide or extra wide if you have a wide foot .The 940 series is for those with flat feet, obese , with issue such as tendinitis or arthritis , it prevents the toes from this extra friction that can be so painful and holds you back from going outside and walking. Thank you New Balance for creating this great shoe. I wish they can do from this same something that can be formal as well in leather. Truly, New Balance ,FOLLOW NO ONE.

Great Cushioning, High-Feeling Arch, Versatile Look
Our family is swarming with New Balance fans (my dad wore them with a coat and tie for crying out loud), but while the men's 940 V4 Running Shoe has great attributes, it's not quite perfect for my needs.Observations: (1) In an era of loud, high-flair running shoes, these present a more traditional and potentially versatile look. (2) Great cushion; ideal for flat-footed types and those who carry weight. (3) Fabric perforations allow terrific breathability. (4) The arch feels a tad conspicuous, riding up mid-foot. (4) Its tread keeps water from puddling, but maybe doesn't maximize surface area contact with the ground as good car tires do. (5) Fit is true to U.S. sizing. (6) They aren't inexpensive.Granted, fit and aesthetics are subjective: Product photos are true-to-life, so if you like what you see, proceed to checkout! - (Was this of use? While I still love New Balance shoes, I feel that the quality has slipped a little
OK. Let me say that I still love my NB shoes, and have purchased four pair within the last year. With that said, I have noticed a few issues that have made me disappointed. First, the cushioning on the heal has come loose on one of my pair of shoes. Second, my newest pair has a spot on the right shoe that rubs my big toe. Before you say it must be the design of the shoe, remember that I have three other pairs just like it.I don't want to run them in the ground. I am in my early 50's and have bought their shoes since my teenage years. I love the brand and am just concerned about the quality slipping. For the moment, I will continue to purchase their shoes. However, if this doesn't turn around, I will be forced to look elsewhere....

Good for my Toes
I'm 53 years old. 199 cm tall. I've only been running for about 8 months, and while I've lost 70 lbs, I'm still obese on the BMI scale. Dont' judge me ... I'm doing my best.Anyway, my old shoes were Asics. Can't remember which model, but they seemed comfortable everywhere except my toes. My big toes and the ones right next-door suffered a great deal in those shoes, and I had no idea why - I just thought it was something that obese runners had to deal with. But then suddenly these New Balance shoes showed up and changed my life for the better. With these shoes my heel feels firmly held, and my toes feel like they are not touching the shoe at all. I had no idea that could even be a thing. Another cool upgrade is that these come with stretchy-elastic laces. Who knew how amazing that could be. Now I can lace my shoes up nice and tight with no discomfort at all.I said before that my old shoes "seemed" comfortable, but really I was just kidding myself back then. Let me tell you a story ...After a run the other day (I call it big fat jogging), I sat down to mess around with the runkeeper app. By the way, ask me someday if I like the runkeeper app if you're interested (spoiler alert: I Like the Runkeeper App). Anyway, a couple minutes later when I stood up, I realized that I was unconciously bracing myself to feel pain in my feet. I never realized that I did that before. In fact, the only reason I noticed it is because I didn't feel any pain at all when I stood ... and it was a suprising sense of relief.I fell in love with these shoes that day. Did I mention that I named them Barbara Anne?

Promotes supination (aka seriously rolling to the outside of your foot) even if you don't want it
I am not a pronator nor supinater and this shoe is definitely NOT neutral. The shoe forces you to supinate (the footbed leans to the outside, because the sole is much thinner there) and, hence, the outside of the shoes aren't cushioned very well causing the outside of my forefoot to rub against the side of the shoe...to the point of irritation and, no doubt, a blister were I to walk or run very far in these shoes. In case you're wondering, they do fit, especially in the heel...about the only positive thing I can say about them..the toe box is a bit wide for my foot. Because I have a narrow (B) width foot, I've worn NB off and on for over 40 years. I want lateral stability in a shoe and these definitely don't provide that. This is the first pair of NB shoes I've ever been less than satisfied with. I don't buy the less expensive models...only 800 series or above. Not a happy camper...even in the slightest. I've wasted my $100 and the next pair won't be New Balance!

Very good shoes
I am a 70 year old man w coronary heart disease. I walk 6 miles a day in these shoes. They are a favorite brand and this pair did not disappoint me. I purchase larger shoes to help protect my feet. These r a little larger than when I ordered same in past. I wish a similar shoe w a thicker forefoot sole was available.
