Polaroid 6004 Color Film for SX-70, 8 Films

Purchased for my old Polaroid Super1000 as having previously used the colour film I thought I'd try using the black and white option. The product simply works as it should, like any other Polaroid film would! Unfortunately my only issue with it is the price, as in comparison Fuji Instax SQ film is significantly cheaper per photo - albeit slightly smaller. For those who are interested in instant photography and have yet to try shooting in black and white, I highly recommend to give this a go!

I bought this film to test an old sx-70 I found, I've used the colour sx-70 film before in my one step but never the b&w. The film has a small latitude so playing around with the exposure dial is a must to work out what works best for your camera and lighting conditions. At iso 160 you need plenty of natural light or a flash bar to get useable results. The contrast is nice although blown out highlights are common due to the aforementioned lack of latitude. You get far sharper images than you might expect coming from other Polaroid formats (600/i-type) although this may be the glass lens of the sx-70 rather than the film itself. At the end of the day this is Polaroid integral film, it has a look to it and if you like that look buy the product, if not try Instax instead.

what else would you expect from an instant print film? of course it's expensive, but great quality. exactly what i'd expected from the leading brand.

I was a bit unsure of wether to buy this off of amazon based of all the reviews saying it was out of date or the battery was flat or blah blah. I got mine literally about 5 minutes ago and put it in my Land camera 1000. The film wasn't out of date and the battery worked fine and popped out the dark screen instantly. Personally I think its very expensive based of the number of photos you get but yk, it is what it is. I have yet to take a photo but all seems to of worked fine so far :)

This film is cool and worth a Polaroid sx-70 it’s great to play with the focus but it does require practice to get the best out of the film. For example, these photos (which I’ve hidden their faces for privacy) is my fifth pack and the ones shown are when I started to get a grip and get consistently good photos.

Not a single photo came out . Every one came out black. It’s not my camera it’s the film as I have had no issue in the past using it but for some reason all 3 packs I ordered all came out black. Must be old film. Don’t waste your money.

Not good. Sorry to say the results were rubbish. Far too faded and muted even on a bright sunny day. But I suppose you win some, you lose some.

Super qualité pour ces packs de film, il y a manifestement eu une petite amélioration de la chimie depuis le rebranding de Polaroid Originals en Polaroid il y a quelques mois. Meilleure fidélité des couleurs, beaux contrastes en noir et blanc, moins de caprices sur l'exposition et la température, moins d'hypersensibilité au soleil lors des premières secondes, temps de développement plus rapide. À titre d'exemple, la photo couleur a été prise cet été, en plein soleil, autour de 28ºC ; pas de virée au rouge-orange et pas de couleurs fanées (contrairement à d'ordinaire lorsqu'on shoot à ces températures), à la place un beau vert profond !

Great image quality and works well!

The film got to my place really quickly compared to another website I was buying these from, and they are a little abit cheaper compared to the other site. I would keep buying them from here just from how fast it was.
