Swan Products SN58R015 Utility Lightweight Leader Hose 15' x 5/8", Green

So for the price -you can't beat it! I have had this hose in service since mid 2017, this past weekend I went into the basement to find a puddle around the dehumidifier. I thought maybe the hose had a clog? What I came to figure out was the metal connection between the hose and the connector has failed. I will need a new hose.

We bought this hose to extend where our big hose was on our deck. We removed pieces of the deck to run it underneath and bring it up in a better spot so we could reach our fruit bushes with the hose. Works well so far and was what I expected but there isn't anything special about it or that sets it apart from other hoses.

I'm not super impressed with the quality. It's lighter and more rigid than even the few that I've gotten at the hardware store and right out of the package it already had a small kink forming about 2 feet down from the hardware. In its defense, so far it isn't leaking on either side and I'm hoping for what I'm using it for (just as an extender so it won't be moved around too much) it will hold up ok. I got this while it was on sale on Amazon so I'm not too worried about it, but I wouldn't buy another one.

I JUST NEEDED A SHORT CHEAP HOSE TO WATER MY HANGING BASKETS. THIS WORKED PERFECT. IT IS A LIGHWEIGHT MATERIAL AND SHORT. I WOULDN'T GET IT IF YOU WERE GOING TO BE DRAGING IT AROUND A LOT I AM NOT SURE IT IS THAT DURABLE BUT IT WORKS PERFECT FOR WHAT I NEEDED.

It's OK if you just need a cheap short water hose. My tomato plants are in pots on the back patio, less than 10 feet from the water spigot. Didn't want a large coil of hose cluttering the patio.However, this hose is definitely NOT high quality. The connector is plastic; and the hose kinks if given the slightest opportunity.It does the job. You get what you pay for.

Worried about the kinks, but was not an issue. I don't expect this hose to last more than a year*, so I am easy to please in that respect. Hose comes with a washer. I attached the washer into the hose end, and had no leaks at the connection. I purposely bought a small hose, 15 feet, to help avoid kinks when not in use. (*) My hoses get destroyed by too much sunlight here in Miami. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd bring it inside to extend its life cycle.

I ordered this hose for $1.50 and thus my expectations were pretty low. That said, it’s a hose, water runs through it and I haven’t experienced any leaks yet. The biggest issue is that it is not even close to the material as pictured. It’s not flexible and it’s simply not the same hose as advertised. 3 stars for being cheap and for being a hose.

You paid what you bought!

I wanted to return this hose as it was not suited to my application. The hose cost $30 plus taxes and the postage to return it was $20. Not worth it.
