WOW when did power slip rings get so cheap?? This unit is a great deal, and despite it being plastic, seems to be good quality. BRAVO!

Great for DIY wind turbines.
Used these to build 2 wind turbines, great quality and just the right wire gauge for my project. It's 2 weeks later and they are still going strong. I am using them outdoors without issue.

Stopped twisting and whole system failed due to bound wires
Mine stopped twisting freely and all the wires got twisted around each other and my entire system went to crap. Not very impressed

I am happy with the quality of this slip ring.The wires are high quality. I didn't expect this*update 4/28/2016I have been using this product for a while now and it is holding up just fine.
