Glixal ATMT1-008 Performance Big Bore Cylinder Kit GY6 80cc 47mm for 139QMB ATV Scooter Moped Go Kart

Installed on my GY6 50 cc scooter and it was a noticeable improvement in low end takeoff and top end speed is up to 43 M.P.H. when it would only do 35 before, it also will go up a steep hill by my house 10 M.P.H. faster than before. Also I used the stock head, cam and exhaust. I also used a 150 carb.

Holy smokes this is a crazy deal. I was skeptical - real skeptical, but the kit was nicely packaged, came with everything and more (see my pics) NOTE: cylinder head and piston came vacuum sealed I just cracked it open to take a pic. Bike runs great. Install was super easy. Stock camshaft and head. Put it on my 49cc gy6 (abruzzi model) spent a few hours regretting my carb. I have a performance exhaust - cheap one from eBay. Carb setup: I live real close to ocean level and see warm weather year round. 88 main, 35 pilot. Bought the jet kits from this company too.

Absolutely phenomenal product for the money. The quality in this kit is better than the original parts, (which for a Chinese scooter isn’t really saying much, but still) Extremely easy to install, it took me 30 minutes to disassemble my old engine parts and an hour and a half to install this kit and replace the main jet in my carb and get it running smoothly. (I am a highly experienced mechanic, but it would take someone with basic engine experience 3-4 hours total) Break it in the way you think is best. Just remember to warm it up before doing so every single time for at least the first 20 miles. It comes with more parts than you really even need, new studs, new nuts, new exhaust gasket, new umbrella seals for the valves. It’s really all there. This kit got my scooter from going about 35-40 to about 50-55, maybe more. Before, I could do about 30 on flat ground and 20 uphill, now I go about 40-45 on flat ground and 30-35 uphill. The biggest difference is the worst part of a 50cc scooter: immediate takeoff power. Before, it would have some trouble leaving a stop sign or in grass, now I have to be careful to not give it too much. Zero to 15 mph is a 250% increase in power, the rest is definitely better but nothing to exaggerate about. This kit will definitely make you feel glad you didn’t fork out the cash for a 110cc scooter, because it’s basically the same performance in a smaller package now.

This scooter rips now. The difference in power is night and day. It's everything you need for a top end replacement. Reused my head, cam, etc. took less than an hour to install. The kit lacks directions however, so YouTube to the rescue. The next one will only take 15 minutes. Gy6 platform is so easy to work with.

Great product USA SCOOTERS

I installed this kit with the help of a YouTube video almost two years ago. I installed the kit, put fresh oil in it, installed bigger jets. Tuned the carb and it’s been running rock solid for two years!! I fill it with premium gas every time to avoid detonation because of the now higher compression motor. Not sure if it’s a big deal but I’ve had great success with this kit. It has about 30% more power than my stock scooter did. It is now enough power for our 50cc (72cc now) to carry my wife and I around town with speeds up to 45mph! (Downhill) about 35mph cruising on flat ground.

Rewriting my review now that I have had 2 pistons from this kit fail. first kit the piston broke and snapped the piston ring and lodged it in to the top of the piston, this piston also failed but the piston rings are fine. the pistons are failing right below the top piston ring the metal just breaks right off. not sure how many miles I got out of this one I would say maybe 300 miles. Luckily I only need to rebuild the piston first kit shredded the cylinder. I maintain my scoot daily since I drive it for deliveries only about 20hrs a week and under 100 miles per day I do work. I still have the 49cc piston kit that came with the scoot and it has well over 2,000 miles on it alone and is still in good shape.

Bought this kit for my sons quad. It came with Everything needed including gaskets and valve seals (I reused the factory valve seals as they where still mint). No instructions, however easy enough job. Just remember to put the black ring in the middle land. The quad runs great, made a huge difference in bottom end power. Will order some taller gearing and I’m sure it will pick up speed. Will update after it gets some decent run time on it.

If you know what you're doing and follow good advice on youtub, it's fabulous. It really changes the performance. More torque, keeps speed going up hill, adds an average of 10 km/h on a stock 50cc with nothing else done to it.
