Lightweight
We bought this blower to replace an older battery DeWalt blower. This blower works well, is lightweight and has good blow power. It does seem to use up batteries quicker than our old one.

Very capable, lightweight, well balanced!
Lightweight, very capable, well-balanced, clean and quiet leaf blower. It doesn't look like it would be as strong as my old Toro gas model, but it is stronger! It handles the leaves with no problems and moves the mulch and dirt back into the garden where they belong. Apparently that little "concentrator" on the end of the tube really does the job. Run time on the 4Ah battery was not a problem at all, it had more than enough capacity (although that battery is still new). Time will tell if it holds up for the long haul, but I am very happy with the performance and light weight.

Powerful & Quiet – Perfect for Everyday Use!
The DEWALT 20V MAX XR Leaf Blower is excellent for getting most jobs done without the hassle of a gas-powered blower. I primarily use it to clear my garage, which helps keep dust and debris from getting tracked into the house—without the lingering gas smell from traditional blowers. It’s also great for quick clean-ups around the house early in the morning, and the low noise level compared to my gas blower means I don’t have to worry about disturbing the neighbors.Despite being cordless, it has plenty of power with 125 MPH and 450 CFM, making it perfect for clearing driveways, patios, and light yard work. The lightweight design and easy handling make it super convenient, and I love that I can just grab it and go—no dealing with gas, oil, or long startup times. If you’re looking for a reliable, quiet, and efficient blower for everyday tasks, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Very handy, adequate for blowing leaves off cars and driveways, etc!
Had this yard blower 2 years and use it frequently in Wisconsin for blowing leaves and snow off of decks, cars and to blow attached (bungee) electric yard sprayer essential oil mist up under tree leaves for mosquito/biting fly control. It works fantastic for the latter while operating from electric golf cart to cover aprox. an acre of area going through two 6ah batteries.Although only about half the power of our 120vac corded B&D blower or gas models it gets the job done with much less fuss! Who enjoys fiddling with long power cords and pull starting a gas engine? We settled on the Dewalt 20V ecosystem when it first arrived and have been well satisfied over the years.FWIW, our many off-brand batteries work as well, or better, than the name brand at about half the price! Chain saw, drills, oscillating-tool, etc.

Works well, powerful
Works as expected. A little too powerful for my needs, cleaning a garage gym floor and drying cars, use in small concrete backyard. But does what you expect and would work well for larger yard, cleaning leaves, etc. Can't say how it does on battery life, my run time is 5-10 minutes only, but no fade during that time.

Plenty of Blowerpower Power and Battery Longevity
I use DeWalt 20V tools as a platform for all my battery powered tool needs. I have Recip saw, Chain saw, long reach chain saw, Table saw, small 4" circular saw,Impact tool, Screw Drivers and Drills. They all perform exceedingly well for the battery powered tasks they are used for. I use my tools on a small farm and for remodeling homes. This blower is as good as any you can find in the battery powered market. I have gas powered. Gas powered have more force and you can refill gas to easily run all day. If you are needing professional level for long days of use get the gas powered. But for every day home owner use, this battery powered blower is plenty adequate for power, no need for messing around with gas and maintenance of gas powered. Battery power limits the period of time you will use it to about 15-20 minutes at full force, you can get a more time if you do not use it at full force, perhaps 1/2 hour using a 4Ah Battery. Most jobs do not require much more time than that for a home owner. If you are running this tool at full force it will heat the battery to the point that it must cool before recharging. I have several batteries for all my tools so that is not such a problem for me, I always have a few fully charged already. For the guy who has only 1 or 2 batteries it might be a problem if you have BIG jobs that you want to do today. . Put the hot battery after using it into your refrigerator to cool it down. They do get hot! It will allow you to recharge the battery much quicker than wating for it to cool at room temperature. I would reccomend having two 4Ah batteries charged up when you start your work. Use the first and put it in the refrigerator, use the second and then start recharging the first while you put your second battery in the fridge. Grab a beer while your at it and wait for the first battery to charge. Put your second battery now cooled onto the charger and get back to work!I am very pleased with my new blower. I used it to blow out my garage, driveway, patio and sidewalks with a 4Ah and 2 Ah battery. I used it blow off my roof and blow leaves out of my gutters with two 4Ah batteries. Plenty enough power and having 2 batteries gave me enough longevity to finish the job. If you want to blow your lawn of leaves and more, then plan to charge you batteries to get the job finished.

Dewalt is the best
Dewalt products haven’t disappointed me yet. Blower has plenty of power and is light weight. It did drain my battery down pretty fast so I would suggest having an extra one charged up if you have a larger job to do. I’ll be investing in extra batteries.
