I started to use salfate/paraben free shampoos and conditioners which dramatically improved the appearance of my hair as well as lessened the amount of breakage. Era organic shampoo/conditioner is the first product I found that actually stopped my itching scalp and improved the dander. For the first time I have been able to minimize the amount of products required to simply comb through my hair. I can now get out of the shower and comb through my hair without knots and difficulty, it’s rather remarkable. I can’t say enough good things about era organics, my hair smells and looks great...and I’m saving money by not needing oils to just untangle my hair. I have had an irritated, itchy scalp for years and I have tried many things and nothing has really made a significant difference. But this shampoo I have used for 3 weeks now and my scalp is definitely much less irritated. The bottle says start with a dime sized amount. For men and people with short hair, you will only need a dime size. So, even though the product looks kind of expensive, so it will last you much longer than your ordinary 8oz bottle of shampoo. Also for travel, you won't need to take nearly as much with you as ordinary shampoo. This is great for any trip where you are considering how much everything weighs in your bags. I am so relieved to finally find a shampoo that doesn't aggravate my scalp.
