It cleans my hand grinder well, and I’m sure it would work just as effectively on an electric grinder. Does a great job removing old coffee residue and keeping the grinder in top shape. A solid choice for regular maintenance.

Have used for years and works great. Just a capful in grinder run it through. I do recommend running a capful of coffee beans to flush out. Does not leave any taste.

I use the Baratza Vituoso grinder and am very happy with the quality and consistency of grind. It was time to clean the burrs and after a thorough disassembly and cleaning with a brush, there was still some grind and deposits on the burrs.I used this product. Easy to use and the result was clean burrs.My only negative is it seems like a rather expensive way to add some simple pellets to the grinder and get a cleaner burr.Another overpriced but effective coffee accessory.

Love this product for my grinder, and also the SuperGrindz version for my Jura superautomatic espresso machine.Using this on a regular basis allows me to go for longer periods before I have to take apart my grinder and give it a thorough cleaning. It's an excellent product, and its good to be able to have a use for stale beans to run through the grinder after this product goes through to get this product out.It's been an excellent addition to my coffee routine, and I highly recommend the SuperGrindz version if you have a superautomatic espresso machine as well.UPDATE:Reading some of the reviews here is a review of the reviewer, not the product. The product works.People saying it doesn't work with superautomatic espresso machines (like Jura) don't seem to understand Grindz isn't for that. That product is called SuperGrindz and has worked very well on my Jura for years.Here's an idea. Read the instructions.And yeah, don't add water to your grinder. Get a vacuum cleaner and hose up as best you can after, then don't worry about it. This is a cereal product and any slight residue you can't vacuum away will work it's way out in time as you use the grinder.This product has kept me from having to disassemble my Eureka grinders (both) for over two years now to give them a thorough cleaning. It works great, and that's why I'm here today reading these reviews from the people who can't be bothered to read instructions -- I'm ordering more, because it works.

Cleans coffee grinds just like it’s supposed to do. Easy to use.

This grinder cleaner does exactly what it is supposed to do! It cleaned the burrs of my Baratza Sette 270 in seconds (see before and after pic) with very little work on my part and no lingering aftertaste like some grinder cleaners. Just be sure to follow the pictorial instructions:1) add a cap full of the cleaner to an empty hopper2) run through the grinder3) run some old beans through the grinder to push through any extra and remove any residual cleaning residue. DON’T SKIP THIS STEP!!In addition, I recommend washing the hopper and thoroughly wiping down the outer rim of the grinder to make sure all residue of the cleaning agent is gone so it won’t affect the flavor of the coffee.This grinder cleaner is so easy to use and would be VERY useful for someone who switches bean profiles/flavors often. The residual coffee oils in the grinder from previous beans can affect the flavor of the final product. I fresh roast my beans and use them for 8-10 days. If I switch to a different bean or roast, I’ll clean my grinder in between and run a small amount of the new bean through to prime it for future uses.
