Kurt Adler 15" Hollywood Frog Prince Nutcracker

This is a very cute nutcracker. My Mother-in-law loves frogs, so I got her this for Christmas. Unfortunately, it arrived with a huge crack down the face. Amazon made it easy to return and I received a replacement in a day. The replacement is in great condition. I know she is going to love it.

I love the the story of the Frog Prince so I just had to add this one to my nutcracker collection. He's absolutely adorable. He appears to be very well made but I was disappointed when I opened the box that he was missing is mustache. Since both pieces of the mustache had fallen to the bottom of the box I decided to reattach them with a strong, clear craft glue instead of returning him and waiting for a replacement. He is sitting on an end table where I can see him from everywhere in the room. Seeing him with the cute little frog in his crown just makes me smile whenever I enter the room. Since he doesn't have a seasonal theme, he is going to stay out all year long.

Kurt Adler 15" Hollywood Frog Prince Nutcracker is at least three times more awesome than any other nutcracker in a similar price range--about $50. The design and materials detail makes this a very collectible piece and a joy to behold--presuming you like nutcrackers and the frog-prince theme. The king is very cute in his short stature so the frog can be upon his head and still be standard 15" height. The frog prince has a sweet smile and a crown of his own. Comes in a nicely printed box, with fitted Styrofoam packaging.

So I got these to add to my moms nut cracker collection and they’re so so cute! But when they came in some pieces were broken off and a couple little chips of paint were missing... for the price you pay I guess I’d expect a little bit better craftsmanship?

Bought this as a gift for my wife and could not have been more pleased! It looks exactly like the photo. The workmanship is great. Very solid construction. Love this!!!

I do love this nutcracker - the colors and details are beautiful - however, ours was delivered with only half of his mustache! The other half was not in the box, so this nutcracker was packaged with his crazy half 'stache. We would have attempted a crazy glue repair if the piece was included, which in hindsight is dumb for a nutcracker that costs over $50. We have looked into receiving a replacement, but only a refund would be issued. It seems like a lot of trouble to go through to return the item and purchase it from someplace else. All in all, my daughter has decided that it will make a cute and slightly off kilter addition to her nutcracker collection.

Adler's nutcrackers are the best and most originals. Quality is great.

Finally after 3 tries, we received a nutcracker that was perfect. It all worked, and it was packaged properly.
