Good product, smells nice around the garden but not for the rats. I tried an area first and put some bird food in the middle they didn’t go near it.

Used this to help deter rats from the garden. It is easy to apply and the spray handle feels sturdy and works well. It is a strong peppermint scent. The product is a watery spray so it is spread easily but is also washed away easily. You need to apply a lot to deter the rats. It did not prevent the rats completely but they did avoid the areas where it has been sprayed and they got confused of where to run when disturbed. I would advise getting the 5L top up as well as you need to keep applying this daily to have a good effect. I used outside on brick work, fences, plant pots and grass/earth. You will need to use other methods with this to control an infestation.

Didn't seem to deter the rat. He was wondering around the area where I sprayed. He was huge though, so may have been super strong and immune to the scent. It was a pleasant smell though, so didn't mind using it. Maybe I should have used more.... Ended up catching the rat with a trap, so not sure if this spray would have ended up working if I preserved.

Bought it as had a problem with squirrels wrecking my patio pots.....three days in and working really well, hope it continues, not a squirrel in sight thank goodness, look cute but absolute terrorists in the gardens. A bit expensive but would buy again.

I applied this liberally to an area in my garden where rats had been seen - I made sure that the the area was protected from rain and applied the spray to surfaces where it wouldn't be absorbed (fencing, wooden posts, concrete flags). I set up a couple of motion activated infra red wildlife cameras and checked the video log the following day: rat jamboree! Absolutely zero effect on the number of critters using the run. Maybe my rats have no sense of smell, or perhaps they even liked this spray? Who knows? Anyway, not effective. Might be good for mice indoors, but no use for rats outside on the basis of my experience.

Didn't stop any mice coming into the house. They didn't even notice, to be quite honest. Besides it making it smell minty fresh it was a waste of money.
