I took 50 jumps and it already started to shred and unwind. But I still use it outside and gave it a four star rating because I just put a yoga mat down (with rocks if windy) and jump in place. So it stops the ground from tearing it and I get all the sore wrist, calfs, biceps and shoulders that I wanted from a jump rope. I really like this jump rope because it turns a relatively easy work out to something more substantial in a short amount of time.
