The best, most versatile light I have ever bought. This light has been with me almost every day since I purchased it.I bought this for a few purposes and it has been absolutely perfect for each application.For work, many job sites tend not to have power so this light is a lifesaver.For cycling, before or after daylight this light works great especially with its many lumen options to save some light for longer rides or beam it for the short right home for some good light. My favorite feature for cycling is the strobe feature for an extra flashing light for oncoming traffic and such.For backpacking, hiking, and camping this light is again, absolutely perfect. I use this very regularly on a lower setting around camp and have never had any problems getting things done or getting around through the woods.The battery life is excellent but it is good to have an extra battery out in the woods in case of an emergency.The headband is excellent though the rubber part that you insert the light into, could hold a bit better, I notice when trail running that it will bounce up and down slightly. However as far as headbands go this one is really adaptable when wearing over a hat, hard hat, or just right on my head.The pocket clip that is removable works very well too.As an every day carry this thing has been absolutely amazing. So many uses, a great emergency light as well, roadside repairs, you can’t go wrong with this light.

I have other headlights from Black Diamond and Petzl, and Jetbeam & OLight flashlights and so far this one is my favorite. It is lightweight and plenty bright. I love the way you can swivel the light to any position and better yet take it out of the strap for an easy pocket carry when you don't need a headlight. However I've found that it's so comfortable to wear that I use it on my head most of the time.Some reviewers have said the lowest light setting is worthless but I strongly disagree--it is perfect for low-light tasks around camp and won't blind your buddies when you look at them.You WILL need to spend some time with the manual practicing and LEARNING THE USER INTERFACE. When to short click, long click, double click, etc. I can't stress this enough--it has a lot of features and settings but you need to learn how to navigate them. I spent time practicing and have used it at hunting camp twice, and still sometimes forget, which is only a minor inconvenience. I can't really call this a "problem", because I like the fact that it has a variety of settings.

Fantastic quality, super bright, good run time with Nitecore batteries. Wish they all came with a magnet in the tail cap. I've had this light for two years and it never ceases to amaze me with it's brightness and run time. I have Nitecore 3400 batteries and even using it almost every day I only have to charge it every few months.Update October 2022, this light continues to work perfectly and is hands down the best flashlight I have ever owned.

Probably the most utilitarian flashlight (torch) I've ever owned. Very useful in a variety of situations. Would love to have had one of these as a backup when I was in law enforcement.Originally purchased it to use when mowing or lawn after dark -- when it's cooler -- on a zero-turn mower to illuminate turf not covered by the headlights. It is sufficiently bright even on medium settings to be useful for backing the mower up an incline ramp into a it storage shed on the side of a hill.For almost everything except mowing -- and probably for hauling in a little firewood at night -- I use it without the head strap. The fact that the light can be made to stand vertically while shinning horizontally makes it handy the have around.

Very bright well made light. Straps are strong and sewn well. Light is ridiculously bright. Do not look at it when turning it on for the first time.The adjustments are easy to use. The only thing I would like to have is a quick detach method so the light could be clipped to other items.No long term test but just a few weeks of use and it has already paid for itself. The batteries are not the best LiION you can get but they do well for this little light

Best head lamp I have ever own . Not a bad price for what you getting. It seems to be very durable battery last a while, fits pretty good in my hard hat so I don't have to put clips to hold it down ... super bright everyone at work always ask me about it since I've been having it for 6 months now. Web working nights meaning I use it everyday and I only charge once every 2-3 weeks . Now the One bad thing from my point of view is that it doesn't have memory for example if you have it on the brightes setting and you turn it off then back on it will automatically goes back to the lowest setting ... other than that cool light

Nitcore makes crazy good flashlights! This thing is incredibly bright, many easily accessible settings, and is about the size of a fat, yellow highlighter. I like that you can hold it in your hand with your thumb on the button to change settings. it reminds me of those old angled Army flashlights, but about ten times smaller and a 100 times brighter. The only minor issue I had is the headband, it's made for someone with a giant melon head. My head is sort of big and blocky, and I found the headband a bit large. It took me a little while to adjust it to my liking. if you have a small head, the headband might be too big. Maybe it was made that way to fit over a helmet? Anyhow, minor issue for an otherwise outstanding light.

AMAZING headlamp! Stop buying headlamps from Home Depot, Lowes or spending bucks on a Petzle. This light is super bright, lasts as long as you want it too based on what brightness you use. The rechargeable 18650 battery can be recharged up to 500 times. Think of it this way, if you had a headlamp that could put out a 1000 lumens on 2 AA batteries (seriously doubt there is one out there) you would have to spend $1,000 in alkaline batteries to equal what this can do with one. Just get it if you are looking at a headlamp!

Solamente he tenido oportunidad de usar esta linterna en un par de ocasiones, sin embargo han bastado para constatar su versatilidad por la amplia gama de niveles de iluminación que ofrece. Por ejemplo el nivel más bajo, de un lumen, es útil al estar en la tienda de campaña y es suficiente para leer sin deslumbrarse, a la vez que ahorra energía. Esto me parece genial; pocas linternas ofrecen este nivel de iluminación tan bajo. A partir del siguiente nivel, de 70 lúmenes, ya es bastante para las tareas en el campamento. Sigue un nivel más, de 210 lúmenes y que es el que usé durante las caminatas, antes del nivel alto de 400. El nivel turbo, de 1,000 lúmenes, lo usé brevemente ya que calienta mucho la linterna (eso explica por qué el diseño incluye aletas para disipar el calor) y obviamente consume mucha energía. De hecho este nivel está pensado para usarse brevemente.Al hacer la compra habría preferido el color de luz blanco neutro pero solo estaba disponible el blanco frío, así que compré este esperando que no fuera a ser una luz excesivamente azul y mortecina. Resulta que el color es comparable al de otras linternas LED que tengo, apenas ligeramente más frío, pero hay que verlas lado a lado para notar la diferencia.En una comparativa que vi mencionan que la duración de la batería está por debajo del de otras linternas. Ya tendré oportunidad de comprobar el rendimiento.Por estar construida de metal confío en que será más durable que las que están hechas de plástico y que cuestan tanto como esta e inclusive mucho más. Y aunque es sumergible no pienso usarla bajo el agua, pero me da la tranquilidad de que en caso de que me sorprenda la lluvia no tendré que preocuparme por ella.Sobre el cargador no puedo opinar pues estoy usando uno que ya tenía, también Nitecore, que me parece muy bueno.Sin embargo es muy pronto para una opinión definitiva. Con el tiempo podré saber si todas estas características, que en papel son muy bonitas, se cumplen en la realidad. Por lo pronto estoy muy satisfecho con el producto.======Actualización 5 de marzo de 2018.Muy satisfecho con esta linterna. Utilizo el nivel de 70 lúmenes para caminata en senderos que es más que suficiente y así la pila dura más. Muy recomendable.

Buena linterna por el precio, no es pesada y puedes ajustar el haz de luz como necesites a máxima potencia dura bastante sin tener que recargar la he usado de manera constante por más de 8 horas no a la máxima luminosidad y no tengo que recargar. Buen producto

Excelente calidad mejor de lo que esperaba incluye un cargado con pantalla lo cual no se aprecia en las fotos.
