My 2008 328i BMW would not run. The car would start but would not move. I installed this part and now Im back on the road!

100% OEM replace my check engine went away as soon as I installed it.

Yes it fits perfectly and worked for a year but got stranded in the middle of the road because it got worn out as seen in the picture. Now all the metal chards are inside the engine and can cause an engine faliure anytime. If you want to save money just get a used OEM from ebay or your local salvage but please save your engines and stay away from those

The engine started running rough giving me codes on Cyl 4 and 5 throwing codes all over that place. I did not suspect the Valvetronic since I just replaced it recently. So, I bought a new set of coils and plugs, but nothing changed. Bad product I can't recommend it, after spending several days and money on the engine I have to go and purchase an OEM Valvetronic motor. Now everything works fine Why I bought it in the first place? was short delivery time post-COVID and did not want to have the car down for 10 days waiting for an OEM.

Lower mounting tab welded in wrong spot. This is the second part I received with this same problem. Someone is making these Eccentric Shaft Actuators incorrectly and rebranding them to several vendors. My advise is to stay away from low priced aftermarket vendors for this kind of part.
