Enjoyable Gingery Tipple
As a dedicated Whisky drinker I noticed recently that there arent many alcohol free options open to a malt fan. I decided to sample some of the options out there. 1st things 1st.... this is not Whisky nor intended as a whisky replacement. It is however a drink that can be poured into your fav whisky glass and enjoyed in an evening. My thoughts; On the nose, Gingerbread, earthy, roots xmas spice. 1st Sip, instant realisation of smooth mouthfeel, with burst of earthy gingery flavour Finish, an amazing Ginger afterburn, enjoyable, lengthy & more-ish. So that was my 1st taste of an alternative spirit, I have to say i'm quite impressed and poured several of these one after the other into my Glencairn. I am a big fan of sherried malt whisky and have tasted a vast range of pricey malts over the years. Keeping an open mind about alternatives seems an interesting area to explore. I realise that there will likely be a lot of reviews with people instantly disliking non alcoholic alternatives but I think if you keep in mind this is in a genre of its own, its not trying to be anything, in fact due to its plant based composition I think it really is verging into its own territory of drink. I should note that I had a great sleep the evening after sampling, something that this bottling markets as an advantage hence the name Nightcap, was that a coincedance? I dont know but the botanists who put this together seem to claim it assists sleep. I think my initial thought with purchasing somethings so different to my usual whisky tipple was this: Was I purchasing a bottle of juice? after my 1st sip and noticing the thicker consistency It definitely isnt juice, it feels more special, more luxurious. Overall I would say this is in a category of its own and tbh I quite like it. In fact im keen on trying the other products from this company. As with all things every individual will have their own taste preferences, I happen to really like Ginger so naturally I would warm to this drink due to its Gingery notes and mild afterburn.

Absolutely fantastic drink!
A great product. Both me and my husband use this and re-order. We don’t drink alcohol, but always look for sleep aids as sleep deprived parents! It tastes 10/10 and helps to unwind of an evening! Would recommend :)

Best I've tried
Have tried a few non alcoholic spirits and this is the best alternative for a night time whisky or brandy. Spicy smell and warming taste with a kick of black pepper. Enjoy it over plenty of ice. Would be 5 * if was less expensive and came in bigger bottles.

Tasty but too pricey
I fell in love with this drink when it was served to me on a flight and really helped me relax and doze off. This drink comes alive when mixed with ginger beer for a fiery sip, or ginger ale for a tingle. Really like the fact this is not just a non-alcoholic drink but an elixir with complementary effects. What I struggle to justify however is the price. At £25 a bottle, 50ml measures, does each shot represent £2.50 of satisfaction when added to £0.50 of soft drink? And does this justify 10 drinks only? Probably not. A nice drink, but ambitious pricing will unfortunately reduce the likelihood of buying this again - may have to leave this as a temptation on future flights.

Great zero alcohol drink for mixers and mocktails
I really enjoy this with diet ginger ale. It has a grown up taste and is not too sweet. Great alternative to alcohol. I don't notice any floaty feelings or feel more sociable when drinking it. I tend to only have 1 or 2 drinks due to it being expensive but it is cheaper on subscription from Amazon then buying directly from Three Spirits because you can just buy one bottle at a time and it is still free delivery for prime members.

A great alcohol alternative
The nightcap drink is excellent. I think some of the reviews and ratings are a little unfair. Yes I do think it’s a little pricey but it definitely delivers on the euphoria I experience and I get a great nights sleep. The valerian root doesn’t always have an effect on some individuals but this is a great tasty alternative to alcohol any day of the week for me.

I've tried many and this is my favorite. A little spicy and refreshing mixed with a seltzer

Social is my favorite, I’m in sales and I drink it through the day to want to talk to my customers. It’s such a great drink I always have it stocked up and I’ve gotten so many people to try it and everyone loves it. Makes you silly and laugh. Just makes life better. I’m pregnant so I can’t have it right now and I can tell you I miss it more than anything else :)

My friend recommended it. It’s ok, but not worth the price. I can’t say I feel anything of significance. These are three very small bottles!!

I recently tried an alcohol substitute elixir, and while it tasted fine, it completely failed to deliver on its promises. I expected it to provide a similar relaxed or flirty feeling to alcohol, but it didn’t give me the slightest buzz. For the price, which was comparable to a nice bottle of alcohol that would typically last me 2-3 months, this was a complete waste of money. It felt like I paid a premium for a glorified flavored beverage. I will not be buying anything like this again and can’t recommend it to anyone looking for an actual alcohol alternative. Save your money.
