Gets the job done.
Good quality tape used for sealing. I used them putting up corrugated pvc sheeting. Exactly what I needed. Good bonding on wood, metal, and pvc, even in a drizzle. No leaks where it was applied. I can recommend this, if your in the need for rubber butyl tape that works well and is easy to apply.

Great Leak Proof Seal For Your RV
I purchased this 1" Butly Black Tape to create a waterproof seal between the hardware used to mount a Slide Topper to an RV slide. This is some very stick stuff, even in 70 degree weather. It worked great. I applied it to the back of the hardware and carefully stuck it to the mounting spot on the RV. You definately do not need to worry about the part moving while you are screwing it down. A putty knife helped remove the excess that squeezed out on the edges. Followed up with 100% silicone aroung the edges and there you go. I can't imagine any water infiltration would get behind the hardware. I liked that it came packaged in it's own box. I didn't have to mess with crushed or squished tape. The box will definately help store it securely until it's next use.

LLPT - Quality Butyl Tape
I've used good butyl tape in the past for sealing above the waterline deck penetrations in boats. And I've refused to use bad butyl tapes...as they are just not worth the effort to use and often make a big mess. I needed some butyl tape to install a replacement RV roof vent fan and my usual go-to stuff was unavailable, so I decided to give this one a try. I can say this appears to be quality stuff. The roll came shipped in a cardboard box so it wasn't a crushed mess like some others you can order. The initial feel was virtually identical to the stuff I usually use. It is a bit sticky/tacky, but not overly so and pliable, but not overly soft. I squeezed a small piece between my finger and thumb for a minute, then pulled them apart and it did stick and stretched quite nicely...indicating it should provide a good seal at normal temperatures. I ran a couple tests with two small pieces to check how it dealt with temperature changes. One piece was mashed between a folded piece of cling wrap and placed in the freezer (-2F) and another was placed between a folded piece of parchment paper and placed in my toaster oven on warm (160~180F). After 20 minutes in the toaster, I removed the parchment paper and peeled the paper apart. The butyl was just a bit softer than room temperature but it didn't flow/melt and still had good structure. It adhered to the parchment paper and stretched like it should. I (accidentally) left the piece in the freezer for over a day. When I took that one out and tried peeling the cling wrap apart, the butyl again stayed stuck to the film and stretched quite well. This is exactly how a good butyl tape should be...remain pliable and a bit sticky for the whole expected temperature range. The only thing I can't judge right now is if this will remain flexible over time, but it seems like it should. If it does, it will make a very nice and permanent seal. I had no hesitation about using it for my RV fan install project. I will update this review if I find an issue down the road, but I do not expect one at this point. For those that have never used butyl tape, here are a couple hints. Butyl tape is not an adhesive, it is a sealant and requires another means of structural attachment (usually screws). For a good, water-tight seal, apply the tape to the object, then tighten the mechanical fastener (screws) until snug and the butyl is squeezed just a bit. Then let it sit a bit so the butyl flows (ok, not flow but slowly squeezes) and stabilizes. Then go back and tighten a bit more. Repeat this process until the items is secured. You can then use a plastic putty knife to trim away the excess. You can also use a ball of the sealant pressed/tapped against the oozed out sealant to clean up the seams. Just don't pull at it. If you keep the ball of removed sealant clean, you can even reuse it for another project. I recommend warmer temperatures if possible, as it makes this process go more quickly. If done properly, butyl will make a very good, long lasting flexible seal. So, my initial impression is this is a good quality butyl tape and is highly recommended.

So far seems to be a good product for a good price.
I used this to mount brackets on my camper. It seemed to be a high quality product that was thick enough, with good adhesive, and made a nice Seal.

Much Better than the Old Gray Stuff
I have used the gray type for a long time, and it has always been much harder to squeeze between two surfaces. I have seen this product, but didn't know where to acquire it until I found it here on Amazon. There are good parts, and not so good parts to it. The Good: * It flows much easier between the two surfaces to be sealed, making an instant seal, where the gray stuff has the consistency of plasticized clay, and has always been questionable. * It remains the same consistency for decades. The Not so Good: * It is extremely sticky, but once used to this, makes it easy to attach to one surface, then attatch to the other surface. The gray stuff usually falls off while trying to attach it to one surface. * Trimming excess sticks to the knife, and tends to pull part of the sealant out from the sealed area. This may just be part of the learning curve. I just completed the replacement of my RV water heater, and found that this product had been used to seal the 23 year old unit. The consistency of the old sealant was the same as the fresh tape, which says a lot about it. I can't say the same about the gray stuff.

Excellent Seal – No More Leaks!
I used this LLPT Butyl Tape on my RV roof and around a few windows, and I’m seriously impressed. It’s super sticky, easy to apply, and creates a tight, waterproof seal just like advertised. The 3/4 inch width was perfect for detailed work without being messy, and the roll was plenty long for multiple jobs. What I really liked is how flexible it stayed—even in colder weather—and once it’s down, it doesn’t budge. Great for sealing vents, skylights, trim, or anything that needs to stay leak-free. Highly recommend for DIYers or pros who need reliable sealing tape that actually works!
