200 Pieces Plastic Floss Bobbins with Bobbin Winder for Cross Stitch Cotton Thread Craft DIY Sewing Storage, White

I can’t get the bobbin winder to work. Obviously I am either dense and just do not understand it or it is defective. It is difficult to turn and therefore the floss just won’t wind onto it. Then if you are fussy like I am about organization and things being the same do not buy these bobbins. They are not all the same. They are clear not white, they are different styles and some are smooth on both sides and some are rougher on one side and smooth on the other. They work for holding the floss but if you need things to be consistent then do not buy these. It is like leftovers were all just tossed into the bags together. But each individual bobbin does what it is supposed to so......

Very nice set. The bobbins had some burrs that I had to trim but they did their work just fine. None of them unraveled on me so far.The winder though *chef's kiss*, that's the star of the show. I've seen so many awful reviews on winders here on Amazon from multiple brands that I was intrigued why no one had anything to say about the winder in this set. It's because there's nothing wrong with it! I saw multiple videos of people having to fix their brand new winders because the bobbins wouldn't stay in place or constantly fell off. None of that with this baby. If I got too enthusiastic it would sometimes get loose from the container I was using, but after winding +150 skeins I'd say that happened maybe 10 times total and it was just a matter of pushing it down again on the edge of the container, nothing major.

The box is just great but the bobbins were scattered throughout the whole thing in a total mess! Plus there were broken and malformed ones mixed in. Some were able to be used but others were a total loss. I still had enough for my project, but it was disappointing to see that was the quality standard.

10% of the bobbins arrived misshapen or half formed. The ones that were full size were uniform and a perfect fit for embroidery floss storage. Unfortunately, the large amount of unusable pieces means that I don't have enough to put away all my thread and had to order more (but I chose a different seller...fingers crossed).

I ordered the version with the box and plastic bobbins but not the winder. Overall, it works as described although the box and bobbins are somewhat flimsy. Some of the bobbins I received were broken which further speaks to the flimsy construction. Contained dividers which made it very functional and customizable. It contained a sticker pad with many of the common DMC floss colors and blank labels for you to make your own - this convenient feature bumped it from a three star to a four star product. Overall, it is a cheap product with a cheap price and functions as such.

I like them but the slits at the bottom of the bobbins to hold the thread are REALLY wide and don’t hold the end of the thread very well. That’s the only reason I’m giving 3 stars, otherwise it would be 5.

Thankfully I still have my original winder, so I just took the pin from this one to replace it. However, if you're purchasing this specifically to have a winder with your set I would not recommend. Try as I might not a single bobbin fit into the slot on this winder, either it was made too small, or the bobbins too thick. The winder itself was essentially useless, but I still gave it two stars because the bobbins are usable and I could use the pin to replace my missing one.Additional note: the bobbins are not fully flat like a DMC bobbin and almost all of then will have extra plastic, often times sharp, sticking off the back making snags on thread and sore fingers a commonality.

Great value for the plastic, but be prepared to not be able to use almost half of the stickers that are included. Not sure whose bright idea it was to fold the sticker paper in half, but once you open the papers almost half of the stickers have already come up and are no longer sticky or are stuck to each other.
