DC Comics Superheroes: Superman Pet Costume for For Dogs or Cats by Rubies, XL

Very cute & well made. Unfortunately it does run very big. I went by the size chart and my 75lb lab was swimming in it. I ended up having to return it. Maybe next year we will try again with the right size.

This was so cute on our 4 year old cavachon. He is about 22 lbs and we ordered an xl. It fit him good, and he kept it on for the most part. Quality is good and price was good.

I got the XXXL size for my 90lb Golden Retriever to wear when she greeted folks at the door on Halloween. The kids all loved it, with a couple even taking pictures with her. It fit pretty well, and didn't bother her much once I made a couple of adjustments. She even wore it for a walk around the neighborhood before hand without much issue. She wore it for about four hours and rarely even pawed or bit at it. And usually when she did, it was the cape. So, there ARE a couple things to watch out for: 1) The cape is held on by two very small velcro pads. There is very little holding the cape on. Also, because they are at the corners of the cap at the top, the top/middle of the cap floats a LOT. And there are some HUGE tags there that cause some problems. My advice is to remove the tags, and sew in three larger velcro strips (one at either corner and one in the middle 2) The cape is HUGE! When she was walking, or just sitting, it looks fantastic! In the wind, it flows very dramatically and really sells. But otherwise, the cape is almost too large and ends up getting under foot very easily. I remedied that by using a safety pin towards the bottom of the cape to keep it centered on her back. You might be able to use velcro here as well. I haven't tried it yet. Again, this is for the XXXL size. The smaller sizes may be fine. And even the XXXL size is fine with some fairly minor modification. And, it absolutely got the kids in the Halloween spirit. So completely worth it for me. We also got the WonderWoman outfit. We'll try that one next year, I guess. Unless we find a good Marvel costume for her! ;-)

Well made. Sizing about right. Velcro used as buttons. My guy is about 71lb and I go the 2XL. I might had gotten away with an Xl. 22” neck. 32” chest. I went larger size. Cape is a little long, but it’s acting like a blanket keeping him warm now. Nothing like spoiling our pets! Outfit may double as his PJs. I would definitely buy again. Only thing I would do is make the Velcro attachments more stout n grabby; shorten the body length so he can go to the bathroom without soiling costume; and maybe shorter cape. Great buy. I don’t know who is having more fun…. Dog or me!

Just fit our 95 pound dog! He actually seemed to like it. Great Halloween costume!

I bought these as Christmas pajamas for my three dogs who like wearing clothes when it gets cold out. Straight out of the bag, these are garbage. Places were not sewn, poor fit, velcro not lining up, just general annoyances. These are the quality of the $10 cheap costumes at big box stores that are sold on the end caps around Halloween. If you purchase these, I strongly suggest you have a sewing machine (serger optional) because you will have to modify them pretty heavily. These are the modifications you must make in order to have a nicer costume. I found doing them in this order makes it easier so you are only spending about 20min fixing them: 1. Sew the back closed. It comes with little pieces of velcro to close it on the back, but they do a terrible job of keeping it closed. My dogs could not keep it on without sewing the back. They would be playing and jumping but when they would shake or jump, they would be caught in the costume as it would be ripping off. 2. Sew the cape onto the neck. They expect the cape to be held on by two small pieces of velcro. Any movement, and the cape just comes off. 3. Now, shorten the back of the costume and cape. Unless you have a 150lbs dachshund, then this is too long for an average dog. I took off about 6" off of the cape and costume just to make sure they were comfortable to to keep my boy dog from peeing into the costume. Using the serger would work nicely here. If you do not have a serger, then just roll it twice and sew it down the length of the roll so the cut edges are not exposed. Do this on the cape and shirt. 4. Line up the cape nicely along the back of the shirt so everything is even. When it is even, sew a 5" line down at the tail end of the cape. I did my line going from tail to head. This is to make sure the cape doesn't come off. It also makes it a LOT more comfortable for the dog. This step is crucial because, if not, you will be fixing the cape every two seconds so it looks nice. With these modifications, my dogs can run at full speed, jump, play, lay down, sleep, everything. They like them and think they are comfortable. Without the modifications, my dogs could not do a whole lot without the costume ripping off immediately. So, if you can not sew, make sure your grandma has a weekend when she can show you how if you buy these costumes. Also, one last thing, out of all the costumes, the Batman one was the most worth the money. Then there is a clear decrease in quality for the Superman and Robin ones.

Great costume for our 112 lb German Shepherd. He’s tall with a large frame and it’s hard to find costumes that fit him. Ordered the XXXL and although a little snug, it worked. I also removed the sleeves with a seam ripper to be less restrictive on him. Quality is good for the price, easy to put on with Velcro closures. Having the cape attach with Velcro, too, was awesome because tie strings on other capes can rip off easily. Would recommend!

Cute costume for Halloween! The outfit fit our cavoodle perfectly and she found it comfortable to wear. Highly recommended :)

It arrived fast. It was easy to put on my dog. The cape can be attached via velcro. Sizing was correct too.

I got an XL for my “small” retriever, and it fit perfectly, amazing quality, doesn’t feel cheap at all, really great material, I am very impressed with this buy but as you can see he is not😂
