These are very high quality. I also bought a spare spool. One thing to mention. They will hold a 5 WF with about 50+- yards of backing depending how tightly you can spool it on. This is the old numbering system. They are really great for a 3 or 4 wt line and are very light. I have 3/4/5 wt Hardy fiberglass rods, and I could use this reel and spare spool on either comfortably. Beautiful traditional click pawl fly reel.

ハーディーのマーキスは古い物をいくつか持っているが、新旧比べてみても新しい物は良くできていると思う。フライリールとしての機能はドラッグが進化した点を除けば大差はないと思う。残るは外観の印象になるが、旧型のややチープな感じに比べ、新型は作りも頑丈で高級感がある。「旧」がもてはやされるのは趣味の世界ではありがちなことだけど、「新」は新で正常に進化しており素敵だと思う。ただ、一体式のラインガードと本体裏の刻印の書体が個人的には気に入らないので星マイナス一つ。

Es ist Hardy Qualität, wie sie im Buche steht. Sehr zuverlässiges Bremssystem, welches dich nie im Stich lassen wird. Handgemacht in Alnwick ist sie optisch der Hingucker am Wasser. Auf meiner 9' Shadow Sintrix montiert, meine Lieblingskombo fürs Fischen auf Döbel, Forelle, Alland, Barsch und Weißfisch. Kurz gesagt ist die Marquis eine Rolle, die dich dein Leben lang begleiten wird.
