This glue takes a little longer to set-up because it is pretty thin and watery, so I usually wait 1 to 1 and a 1/2 minutes after I apply the glue to the lashes before I apply them to my eyes. This way the glue is tasky enough to not make a mess on my eye and it adheres well and dries clear. A little goes a long way so don't try and apply a thick line of glue as you will only make a mess when you go to apply the lashes.
