This is actually the second time I've bought one of these, mainly because they are pretty cheap and with planting season coming up, I needed something in a pinch. The first one was pretty terrible. The cap leaked gas from vibration of my tiller and while under the shed it collected rainwater during the winter which caused the inside to rust completely. The second one I just bought seems to be a lot better quality. The gas cap hasn't leaked and bolts right on with no issues. also comes with a filter which is nice.

Great kit. I used it on an old Harbor Freight pressure washer that sat for a long time and got rust and varnish in the tank and carb. Took me 20 minutes to take the old parts off and install these. Started on the second pull and runs perfectly. I didn’t even have to adjust the carb.

Bought this kit for a old Honda gx160 engine on my log splitter. The fuel system needed to be replaced since it was old and the previous owners left gas it in to long. The old fuel tank was dented from a log being dropped on it. Also had sediment inside the tank. The old fuel line was brittle and leaking. The old carburetor was green inside from ethanol fuel and had rust. I didn't was to waste my time trying to clean it. The new carburetor and fuel tank looks just like the oem that I replaced. It started up easy and runs good with these new parts.

Replaced the tank on a GX-160 with this and it fit very well. Only issue I've got is that the cap doesn't seal well and when used in a mower application (vibration + tilting the machine to turn around) it leaks with anything over about a half tank in it.

Perfect fit for my GX160. One of the welded bolts was bent due to shipping, but a quick adjustment and worked like a charm. Ran through almost 2 refills and is still sealed and solid.

It's a good price and the fitment was good too. On the third screw hole the threads were damaged. Maybe I damaged them trying to get the screw in, but I had to tap the hole which is 1/4" NF. The gas cap is cheaply made. The tank comes with a removable gas cap filter. If you leave the filter in place the gas cap isn't snug and it will spill easily. So I've removed the filter and won't be using it. My old OEM gas cap fits better than the new one. Overall it's a good tank and I would buy this again based on the price.
