100% better than readywise
These are tried and true. Went to the lake for a 1 night campout accessible only by boat and they were a huge hit. Will buy again. They are easy to cook and delicious. Also took some on a 72 mile Canadian canoeing trip. Someone brought readywise. We brought these. 6 nights later, there were only readywise options left. Mountain house won every night, no contest.

Camping Items YUM!
I try to keep some food on hand that I can eat incase the electric goes off or we go camping. This is very tasty and we have enjoyed it.

Long shelf life, tasty
These meals are an excellent way to have an emergency food supply because of the shelf life alone, but they are also light and small enough for backpacking as well as tasty. Mountain house has been coming with me on hiking trips for years. Now my family has switched from MRE's to these for possible emergency/disaster situations. The quality is very good and consistent. In my opinion the price of these meals is reasonable considering what you are really getting. Cooking is very easy and very quick. Just add hot water, wait 10 mins. I highly recommend.
