I LOVE LOVE LOVE this mica powder , it is such an Amazing effect when mixed in my resin pours 🫗 😍 You can use very little ❤️ and the PERFECT shimmer, You use more ❤️ and it is so so Sparkly ✨️ ❤️ and can take over, BUT sometimes that's what You want!! I love the way this mica looks in my gemstone and galaxy soaps. You only need a tiny amount to get lots of sparkles. The one thing to keep in mind is that it floats in the air and will cover everything it touches (you also need to be careful not to breath it in) so it can be a bit difficult to work with until you get the hang of it. Overall it's a great value and works very well to give the desired effect.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Sometimes I like to add a little sparkle or shimmer to the tops of my soaps, but find most glitter to be a pain to work with, and most mica doesn't cover evenly (a few clumps here and there). But this was perfect. I can just use my fingers and flick them a bit and it covers so easily, and I don't end up with more on my fingers than I have on my soap. Plus, it looks great -- just the right amount of shimmer for me.

Very pretty and sparkly. I mixed it into some resin I was casting. I can't give 5 stars because this is absolutely not pearly in any way. It's a pretty, sparkly silver, very fine particles, mixes very well, but not pearly. I did buy it hoping it would have a pearly sheen, but the mica is pretty too.

Used as a little cheek sparkle at christmas for a neighborhood christmas parade. It was perfect. A little is subtle... the more you put on the more you sparkle. Be careful when you open because if you blow on it --- it will fly. Washed off fairly easily - note* I didn't apply a heavy coat

Just as beautiful as described! 1oz is quite a lot of powder. It's a bit more sheer than I was anticipating but that will let me blend it with other colors because this sparkle is amazing. I can't wait to use it in my work to see how it will enhance the "white henna" I do for my clients. Shipping was prompt and the jar was packaged well. Will definitely order again.

I purchased several different Slice of the Moon mica powders for use in bath bombs. I learned after purchasing that some micas cannot be used in bath bombs - particularly some of the blue and green colors - depending on what colorant is used (they can produce a sulfuric scent and they are also not FDA approved for bath bombs). I visited the company webpage - nowhere on there do they list the ingredients for any of the micas. I emailed them and one month later... no response. Even though their prices are decent, I will be ordering from a supplier who offers full disclosure in the future. Wholesale Supplies Plus has a nice selection with clear identification of which kinds of products are acceptable for each of their micas.

I bought some body lotion from Olay that had shimmer in it. I love it, however I had many other lotions to use up before I could justify buying more. I found this product and thought it would be great if I could mix it into my other lotions and get the same shimmer. It works PERFECTLY! I just put a teaspoon of mica in with about 8-12 oz of lotion. If you get too much shimmer, just add more lotion. I am so pleased.

Although it has quite a bit of sparkle, it was quite enough for me. I do like it, and there is lots of it in the large pot so it will go a long way.
