The ends are sa coarse texture and the hair is soft.CONS: this is not true kinky straight hair. The root is silky with crimps and the ends are more like the true texture. I ordered 16, 18, 20 in upon measuring them they were all short about an inch. 16 measure closer to 15, 18 - 17 and the 20 measured a little over 18 closer to 19. we all know the longer bundles are going to be a little bit smaller when you get past 20 but the 20 was very small. These were not 95 to 100 grams in weight.I was very hopeful upon reading the reviews but disappointed upon receipt.
