This is a wonderful, light-weight (but sturdy) shower seat/stool which fits nicely even in smaller tubs or shower rooms. I often have joint inflammations and this product helps keeping the shower time less painful. It's very easy to carry, so I can bring it in/out to/from the shower room or bath tub quite often (which is nice when we share the bathroom with others who don't need shower aids). The rubber feet at the ends of the aluminum frame really keeps this chair in place and makes me feel quite safe. Assembling is very easy, with no need for tools (just bare hands are enough). I could assemble this myself in just a few minutes. However, the "buttons" to adjust the legs are quite hard (although this might be necessary to keep the stability), so it might be difficult to adjust the height very often. This might not be a big problem if you don't plan to share the chair with others (with longer or shorter legs). Finally, this is a really great shower aid stool within this price range (around $20). I would buy it again, but probably not so soon because this stool looks quite durable.

Perfect sturdy and not to big.

I never thought I'd be buying a shower chair, but my new apartment has just a shower, no tub, and leg shaving is kind of tricky with nowhere to put your foot. I wanted one of those cool looking teak shower chairs, but they look very flimsy and I kept seeing reviews about mold. So, I opted for the granny style shower chair instead. This was easy to put together, it's easy to adjust, perfect for what I needed it for, and much sturdier than it looks like it would be. It's also incredibly lightweight, so easy to pick up and move out of the way when I am not using it.

It was easy to assemble and it’s sturdy. This was a good purchase.

It wobbles. One set of legs needs to be slightly longer due to the way the legs overlap at the mounting point.

Great product. Worked well in a small space. Was safe and effective while showering. Would recommend to anyone with limited shower space that’s needs a chair.

Wanted a small, solid shower stool and this checks all the boxes. It’s easy to assemble, rock solid, not too big and less expensive than most of the others. The adjustable legs allow you to get the exact height you want but this feature causes a problem with all these types of stools. Once set, water enters the legs through the other unused adjustment holes which causes mold and mold odor. It’s impossible to clean and as a result, I just threw mine away after about a year’s use. Once I set the height on this new one, I wrapped the legs with clear tape which blocks the holes and prevents water from entering the legs. Problem solved.

simple stool has helped more then I thought it would. did eventually break after 2 y use, but still a good buy. be carful, if ur like 285, it will eventually bend before brewaking. when u notice the legs bend a bit, replace. we didnt and she feel pretty hard, bad time.
