Cheaply made battery holder
Might as well be made from paper it just crumbles in your hands, tried using the crocodile clips straight onto the battery and it doesn't work so these little adaptions are obviously needed. Complete waste of money and one very unhappy child.

Nearly started fire
Every thing was good until i smelt smoke i imediately took the wires apart with my mothers help! But the wires were melted together and the metal and the wires caught fire every thing was cheaply made! I wonder what would if i didnt smell the smoke this is NOT a good thing to buy DONT waste your money on this. It only causes damage!!!

Requires ability to solder
This is really an extension to other kits. It requires an ability to solder. If you are aware of this then it is probably useful. The small brochure showing some construction is poor with very small print and is not much use.

Great little kit
Great little circuit kit with a handy little storage bag. Bought for our homeschooled 7 year old to use alongside her DT lessons.

It is fun to use the kit plus very eductional learning.
My grand draughter and I used the kit build different circuits and learn the bsic principle of physics.We both had great and enjoyed playing and learning together.

There are better options.
Kit only came with 1 bulb holder even though it clearly stated 2 in description. I specifically purchased the kit because it had 2 in order to demonstrate parallel circuits. Also the bulb holder that did arrive is useless. Bulb doesn’t fit and housing is turning now and bulb won’t come out. In my opinion a better option would be to buy the holders alone (Ajax Scientific EL340-0012 Mes Type Bulb Holder) and a battery. BTW I’m not sure if the above bulb holders are any good but I will probably try them out next.
