Works well. Easy to use

I saw this on some influencers blog and although I don't often fall for their tricks this time I gave into the magical allure of the strip holder. I undertook the journey for two areas under my computer, one under my wife's computer and one in kids room. The providers of this product make sure to not include instructions with this product and that really appealed to my free spirit that I could do whatever I wanted with it. I considered adhesion to the ceiling or to hold up my 15th century Rembrandts but eventually I looked at the pictures on Amazon and decided to use them to hold the plug strips. Now the fun part starts by actually going underneath your desk and wrangling the various plugs into some sort of order. I discovered that I apparently had a toaster oven and that my wife had a small hairdryer under her desk. As far as the adhesion it only took six attempts to get it to work and get the strips to hang from the wall. And then the race started to see which could pull off the wall first. Under my desk won handily by falling off day one, kids room day two, the second one under my desk at day 4 and finally my wife's desk came in last as it lasted a full 7 days. The good news is that now we have power strips with a weird adhesive on the back of them as decorative flourishes under our feet again and these very cool plastic strips on the wall to remind us of our magical week.

It just does it's job. We needed it so that we could plug our devices and coffee machine near our small living room area without all the plugs being seen by all our guests and it works perfectly. It can even hold the heavy power strip with my heavy MacBook charger plugged in!We did hold it to the wall for 10-30secs just for it to properly "cure", but not sure if that was necessary since nothing was included with the strips (no cards or papers or anything on how to even use them). One thing about them is that be sure you want these instead of command strips. Command strips (for the most part) can be safely removed from a wall without damaging them. I STRONGLY doubt these will be the same. I did momentarily freak out about that since we live in a rental house but we'll just pray and paint over it worst case scenario lol. Needless to say the adhesion is VERY strong.

The manufacturer should include specific installation instructions. These are located on the Amazon page...at the very bottom. Notes included on that site refer to cleaning the wall and heating the adhesive pads for 2 minutes with a hair dryer and then allowing 24 hours before inserting the second plate. Probably explains why there are some complaints about adhesion.

Purchased for wire clean up behind TV and computers. I saw these on a video and they seemed impressive. However, after applying them to my baseboards with plugs inserted, they fell down and were laying on the floor. I think the issue is when you have devices with the transformers at the end of the cord, they are just too heavy for the adhesive on the holder. Since I had applied them, I didn't return them. Just be aware that the weight you plug into them if you want them to stay adhered to wall.

I had multiple things on the floor under my desk which was driving me crazy. I tested something smaller first, above picture is my rechargeable batteries charger. Has been stuck for over a week and hasn't budged. I missed the step about using the hair dryer to adhere the double sided tape, but will do so when I finally get the courage to get under my desk and tack up my power strip. who likes going under there desk, honestly. I've read a few negative reviews and am wondering if its user error? because these were extremely easy to use, even without instructions. 10/10 would buy again (and I probably will).

I have given this product a fair chance - I have three power strips mounted with these mounts. to date (two months in) One is flawless - holds the power strip where I put it, no problem. the second mounted on the same steel desk leg (opposite side) - gave up two days in. I keep re-sticking, redistributing the weight of the cords attached, this one is like that one sock that always winds up at the bottom of your shoe.The third - works when it wants to, and gives up often - there is no rhyme or reason and this one stays stuck to the stationary object - but detaches itself from the power strip itself, there is no pattern or set length of time and completely random even in the varying ambient temperature. not sure if I want to use the last two or look for a more reliable option (or adhesive since the design does work nicely)

I've had my power cords along the floor collecting dust for years, not knowing I had any other options. I found this and it's a game changer. Not only can I keep my power cords off the floor (I have an 11 month old baby who's crawling everywhere), but it makes it more accessible when I need to plug/unplug and everything stays cleaner. I'm sure having less dust around it makes it much safer.
