Wonderful Product
I love this product because it definitely helps me to exert myself to my physical capacity when I am doing squats.I purchased the yellow 1.25 lb plates. I also want to purchase 0.50 lb. plates. One problem: the paint job is very, very shoddy. On the very first day that I used these: one of the weights lost its yellow paint in numerous places. But paint is, of course, only a tiny concern.

Great little plates!!
Great plates for increasing weight by less than 5lbs. I bought these for use with bench press and overhead press as they fit on your standard 45lb barbell. I ordered the 1.25lb plates and both weighed in at 1.256 lbs so weight seems accurate. The yellow coating/paint is chipping slightly right out of the box, but who cares? They serve their purpose well.

Worth it
They serve their purpose well. Great for those baby bump ups when you're not ready to move up an entire plate. Was even able to figure out how to hold these little guys so I could increase my DB curls/KB OHPs. Getting ready to purchase another pair of different increments so I can continue to make baby gains.Edit: 09/21 just wanted to edit and add. I don't think it's a big deal but FYI: paint started chipping off several months after using.

Actual weight is a bit off.
Fast shipping. Got the 1/2 pound plates. Finish looks good, but they haven't had any use yet. The plates fit my Olympic bar very well. When I checked them on an accurate scale they weighed 7.8 and 8.1 ounces. So, not perfect. With both of them on the bar it will be 1 ounce short of a full pound. Most likely not noticeable side to side. Still, the heavier plates may be off more. Be aware.

Exactly what they are supposed to be
They are what they're supposed to be; 1.5lb plates for a 2" Olympic Bar. Some people complain that these fractional plates are expensive on a per pound basis, but they are worth it considering that they allow for an increasing weight progression program where a 5lb( 2.5#x2) increase might be too much.

They’re what they claim to be
Not value for the money bc they shouldn’t be $20 or more for these small weights, but they do the job, and I like that they are yellow so if I take them to the gym people can clearly tell they don’t belong to the gym

High Quality Plates
There was nothing to dislike. I've got a 1" curl bar that weighs 12 pounds. That's kind of awkward in terms of accounting for the weights. I needed 3 pounds for an effective bar weight of 15 pounds. So I used Titebond super glue to attach one of these plates, each, to the back of a pair of 25 lb plates. These light plates have 2" holes, so they don't take up space on the bar. Now I've got a nominal minimum weight on that bar of 65lbs. Is that OCD or what?

I bought these for a creative solution to a puppy dog problem! Picture
I used these small weights as a creative solution to a problem. Our dog likes to lift up the trashcan lid with his nose to get inside of it. We used to put a soda can filled with coins on top of the lid to dissuade him, but it didn’t look very good. I found these little weights so I just added some felt furniture pads underneath and set them on top of the trashcan. If the dog tries to get in the trash, the wait will fall on the floor and scare him. The dog knows it is there, and he never bothers the trash. And you really can’t tell it isthere.

A wise investment
Good!!! My order arrived 2 day earlier than told! There were some paint chips on the plates, but they are gonna get beaten up throughout my workouts so the chipping is of no importance to me. Other than that very happy overall with my purchase!

Metal weights, fit 2” bar well. Recommended
Is all metal, and painted over. Not rubber coated. It’s a change plate so it doesn’t need to be rubber. Not loose and not too tight so perfectly fits an Olympic 2” bar. Good for progressive overload when 5lb jumps are too much.

Product Came Damaged
Plates came severely chipped. The product can still be used and will get chipped overtime but was under the impression the product would arrive in new condition.
