It had the s-hooks to hang the swing and handles into the daisy chain, but did not include hardware for mounting into the ceiling. Basic Instructions included, but nothing fancy. Then we went to REI and got mountain climber clips. Because I teach I had to ensure safety of my clients and be able to accommodate a multiple of weights. I can imagine that if the use is for just an average weight person, in their own home that if you have a secure ceiling beam (you'll have to be able to verify through your roof and/or attic) you could just 'i' hooks into the beam with straps through the "i" hook to accommodate your weight. This may all sound complicated - but I can assure you that you will LOVE this inverted sling! I have so much fun on it all by myself that my husband's new nickname for me is "Monkey"...
