I bought this to wear during the winter on my motorcycle the carbon filter works to block the wind that most neoprene mask let through BUT The nose piece sits on the end of my nostrils. They do come with 2 filters, one is installed, and the other is in the re-sealable package that everything is shipped in. They're made of a nice stretchy material with some ok stitching. It does have some fairly large Velcro strips for fastening in the back. There's also a rather sturdy nose clip, and the exhale valves function properly as well.
