Outstanding durable play toy for aggressive play. It’s very tough and gives hours of play enjoyment. As with ANY dog toy, never leave your dog or puppy unsupervised. I’ve bought a lot of KONG dog toys and they are the only ones that survive my wild pup, now young adult dog. The cheaper brands don’t last, so you get what you pay for.

My puppy's favorite. Very durable. Can stand up to dangerous levels of tug o war without a dent. It is a little floppy and heavy but he likes shaking it so it works out. That said, it does fly very well.

The Kong frisbee is much better than the Kong donut. Very durable and the retriever really loves it. Good product

Dobby is a corgi. He is obsessed with his Frisbee. The hard plastic ones would get sharp edges where he bit down on them. The kongs are very soft rubber, and apparently indestructible. Highly recommend.

The KONG Flyer performs well for outdoor fetch and is noticeably better than many standard plastic flying discs. The natural rubber construction is softer and safer on a dog’s mouth, and it flies in a predictable arc when thrown properly. For active play sessions, it holds up better than most lightweight alternatives. That said, it is absolutely not indestructible. If you have a strong chewer and allow it to become a chew toy instead of strictly a fetch toy, you’ll likely see wear and damage. It’s durable for its intended purpose, but it shouldn’t be mistaken for something that can withstand heavy chewing. The reason this isn’t a 5-star rating is that durability has limits, especially with power chewers. It’s better than most flying discs on the market, but expectations should be realistic.

I have a German Shepherd border collie mix who loves to chew and tear things apart and he has not been able to tear apart this frisbee thank goodness! He loves this toy so much he loves playing fetch with it. He also enjoys chewing on it for fun we’ve had it for a while now and it hasn’t shown any signs of where tear at all!

Update: Seller (Pattern Products) saw my review and offered a refund. Terrific customer service despite the issue not being theirs rather, it is Kongs issue. Does my dog love it? Absolutely! Is it durable? Nope… my German Shepherd adores these frisbees. I can’t even say the word out loud near her. But, they used to last for six months before it would crack around the edges and eventually the inner circle would fall out leaving a floppy frisbee circle. They have been lasting a shorter and shorter period each time I buy them. The last replacement was bought on Nov 5th and is already completely cracked around the edges, soon to be just a floppy circle with no center once again. It lasted six weeks. So…I am on the hunt for a new frisbee that she will love and will last longer.

Dog loves this one. Does not chew on it much but she has and is still flies, it’s not torn to shreds. Flies a short distance, not a plastic one so the weight brings it down sooner than had hoped
