## Description

Easily Fit Around Dog Neck Smooth rounded edges for superior comfort, thick chrome-plated steel to prevent skin puncture and increase product durability, gentle to firm pull allows this collar to control your dog‘s behavior easily, great ideal for gentle effective correction. When pulling the pinch collar the dog will stop immediately, they will obey your lead in a short time. Chrome-plated steel with silver shine makes your dog look so cool and stand out, premium quality material and high-level handmade ensure this pinch collar will not break easily. The chromed layer will provide corrosion resistance for the collar, as well as easy cleaning procedures. These collars will serve you and your dog for a long time.Simple and Convenient to Install This collar does not apply direct pressure to the trachea, so you can train your dog with little or no tugging, jerking, or pulling. The addition of a center plate connector allows the middle link to be configured symmetrically, enabling the prongs to tighten in the same direction. The buckle releases when pressure is applied, very safe for the dogs, it will not fall off easily, and also convenient for you to put it on and take off in daily use. The center plate spreads pressure naturally and allows for even pressure and correction.Smoother Surface Bright Shine is Perfect for correcting bad dog behavior and helps teach responsive walking habits, recommended for professional dog obedience training, or walking. Positive punishment is a technique used by dog trainers and owners when altering the behavior of their dogs. These Pinch Collars are safer and more effective than other collar types. Links can be added to make the collar longer or removed to make it shorter. The collar should fit snuggly just below the dog's ears, and measure the circumference of the dog's neck accordingly. The advantage of the Silver Chrome Plated pinch collar is that the surface is much smoother and has a special bright shine.

Review: Works like a charm - It looks so scary and I was apprehensive about it at first, but after doing lots of research and trying it myself, it worked wonders on our German Shepherd Dog. Even using the dead ring (leash connected to both big rings at the same time, which is how you should start), it works perfectly and the prongs are rounded and safe, so they're not going to pierce anything or break the skin. It's SOOO much better and safer than when our dog was literally choking and gagging himself by pulling with all his (considerable) strength against his neck with a normal collar or slip collar and likely damaging his throat. He stopped pulling immediately, so the prongs became immediately irrelevant, anyway. Now he walks down the street like an angel and I get endless comments about what a great dog he is. It's also great for training around the house to not chew on or get into things he shouldn't. Be sure to research the proper way to fit a prong collar before using. There are sites and videos available that instruct you on this. It doesn't really come with any real instructions. A lot of people try to put it over a dog's head like a slip chain collar and that's totally wrong and causes it to hang loosely down by the shoulders. You have to disconnect a link (by squeezing) and put it on that way. Also, when you first get this, be sure to remove enough links to you get a snug fit so it stays high on the neck and not down by the shoulders. Other advice: if you have a dangerously aggressive dog, you should use a backup leash/collar just in case the prong collar ever gets disconnected somehow. It's more likely with the quick-release type prong collars which I wouldn't recommend for a really vicious dog. Edit: Forgot to mention that I received several recommendations for this particular brand of prong collar and I'm very happy with it. It is well made and solid and good for a fairly large dog. Very heavy gauge wire that's smooth and rounded tips, so it's definitely not going to hurt your dog or break the skin. Also, you can gradually wean your dog off the prong collar after it gets into the habit of walking properly by simply switching the leash between the prong collar and his normal collar. The normal collar is always on to hold any tags and so forth. If he starts pulling, it's very easy to switch back. You don't want to teach your dog that it's ok to pull with a normal collar. Once you have your dog properly retrained, you shouldn't really need the prong collar any more in most cases.
Review: Two words…GAME CHANGER!!! - I can’t recommend this collar enough! I have a 50‑pound hound/shepherd mix who used to pull like crazy, and I was honestly at my wit’s end. After some research, I tried the Herm Sprenger Chrome Plated Training Collar with Quick Release Snap (“Herm Sprenger Pet Supply Imports Chrome Plated Training Collar with Quick Release Snap for Dogs, Medium, 3.0mm, 21‑Inch”), and it completely changed our walks. I was nervous at first because prong collars sounded harsh, but once I learned how to fit and use it correctly, I realized it’s very humane. It applies even pressure around the neck—no choking, no pain—just calm, clear communication my dog instantly understood. Within a few walks, the difference was night and day. My dog went from dragging me down the street and pulling my arm “out of its socket” to walking nicely by my side. The German quality is outstanding—strong, good‑looking, and so far, rust‑free. I love the quick‑release feature for how easy it is to snap on or off (you MUST get this feature!), and adjusting the size is simple by adding or removing links. If your dog’s a puller, do yourself a favor and give this collar a try. Watch a quick tutorial online to learn proper use, and you’ll be amazed at how much calmer and more enjoyable your walks become. It’s truly an incredible value—you’ll look back and be so glad you made this purchase. A final note: I am not getting paid for this review; I just felt that I needed to write about this game changer!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective Training Tool for Discerning Dog Owners!
*by A***R on February 6, 2024*

As a responsible dog owner committed to positive reinforcement training, I initially had reservations about using a pinch collar. However, after extensive research and consultation with professional trainers, I decided to try the Herm Sprenger Pinch Dog Training Collar with Quick Release Snap, and I'm incredibly impressed with the results. Firstly, the construction of this collar is exceptional. Made by Herm Sprenger, a renowned name in the industry, the quality is evident from the moment you hold it. The stainless steel material is durable and rust-resistant, ensuring longevity even with daily use. The design of the pinch collar is humane and effective. Contrary to misconceptions, when used correctly, it provides gentle yet firm feedback to discourage pulling and promote better leash manners. The evenly distributed pressure mimics the natural correction a dog would receive from its mother or pack leader, making it a valuable training aid. One of the standout features of this collar is the quick-release snap. It allows for easy on and off, ensuring a secure fit without the hassle of struggling with traditional buckle closures. This is especially convenient during training sessions or when transitioning between walks and off-leash play. I appreciate the versatility of the collar, as it can be adjusted to fit various neck sizes comfortably. Additionally, the 2.25mm thickness and 12" length make it suitable for medium to large breeds, providing ample control without being overly restrictive. While I understand that pinch collars may not be suitable for every dog or training scenario, for those who have tried other methods without success, the Herm Sprenger Pinch Dog Training Collar offers a viable solution. When used responsibly and in conjunction with positive reinforcement techniques, it can be an invaluable tool for fostering obedience and safety. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Herm Sprenger Pinch Dog Training Collar to discerning dog owners who prioritize effective, humane training methods. It's a well-crafted, reliable tool that has made a noticeable difference in my dog's behavior, and I'm confident it will do the same for others.
