When we breathe, the moisture from our respiratory tract suppresses the mask and ACTS as a wick, drawing things in instead of protecting us. I also bought these for everyday use. I like the extra piece of material that fits under the chin to keep the face mask from riding up. The face mask also has a vent to let moisture out which is a nice feature. Mine came with 2 carbon filters. The adjustable straps that go around the ears is a plus too. I work in a wood working shop and use it to keep wood dust at bay. It does help to a small degree with fumes.
