They filter the water extremely well.I was very surprised what was in our drinking and cooking water. Glad were not consuming that contamination.This is my 2nd order of this 6 pack. It's a really good price and made well.They have food grade plastic collars in the cores, at each end, so the ends don't fray or become unraveled.I use this in my Gordon's water system filter cylinder and it fits perfectly.
